This old-school restaurant is a gem!! I came here since I was little with my mom, everytime we visited Malang. The food is really one of a kind, every item in menu is FABULOUS, nothing like other restaurants & has been consistent for over 50 years. Our favorites are mie pangsit (noodles with steamed wontons, all the varieties), cap cay (stir fry vegetables with mixed meat), nasi goreng (fried rice, all varieties), kolobak & kolo udang (fried pork or shrimp nuggets with tomato-pineapple sauce on the side), es campur (shaved ice with condensed milk & pink syrup), es advokat (shaved ice over pieces of avocados with condensed milk & mocha syrup). This place is well-maintained over the years, while preserving that classic Malang atmosphere. The staff are very helpful & polite. Prices are very reasonable. A MUST VISIT place! There’s a small clean restroom, you just need to bring your own...

Visiting this Chinese diner and the snack kiosk is a must-do for anyone who wants to experience the old local Chinese food scene. It's a place where time seems to stand still, and the food and atmosphere remind us of a simpler, more...

Service is just so-so, place is not too big, and not really clean, and parking may be hard to find because Kawi area is always crowded. This place should be open up to 9PM daily. once I went there when it was 8:45PM, and istead of explaining that they are closing (or ask whether I want a take away), the employees are running towards us, and hurriedly slam the doors closed in front of us. Funny, huh? I bet they don't really need another...
