I always order chicken katsu curry, and I'm quite the picky eater, not mention that it's quite a large portion for me and yet I still manage to eat it all of it; I even ask for more rice most of the time. I also really like the chocolate ice cream they serve; although I've always had a thing for chocolate, it's nice when restaurants have simple yet delicious options like that.
Moving on from food, the service is alright, I appreciate the Japanese greetings that are said to the customers when they arrive, though my friend (who lived in japan) laughed at the employees' pronunciation. Other than that I would like it if they would give my ice cream before the meal, especially when they specifically ask me if I want the ice cream before or after the meal, and they always seem to mess this up so overtime it gets pretty annoying in my opinion.
The atmosphere itself has warm lighting, which gives off a cozy vibe, and has pretty Japanese decorations (mainly wall art), the music is always Japanese so that's nice aswell. Read moreDon't be fooled by the 5 stars, this is because the waiter took my phone and wanted to put 5 starts herself before we even got to eat. I said I would try the food first and then put a review so here it goes. In contrast with the name the happiness sushi meal made me unhappy. Nothing is fresh (especially not the salmon which they cover with a lot of sauce in the hope you wouldn't see it's a tiny piece of old salmon that's falling apart), they fill up half the sushi with panko which almost has no taste. The only thing I liked was the crab salad. The waitress was very friendly though and it's quite cheap but I wouldn't go here for...
