In short: bad food poisoning. I had chicken satay with vegetables in this restaurant. It took ages to make but I was ok with that chatting with friends. Later on I realised that the reason why it took so long to make was to spice the chicken enough so that I don’t realise that the chicken meat is expired. The next day I was dying on my 9hrs tourist taxi to Lake Toba. I was committing and had diarrhoea, could barely drink any water and everything just kept coming though me. We went there on our first day and eventually went back twice since the food was so good, the views were amazing and the seating was quite comfortable.
