Sands Dining — Restaurant in North Sumatra

BEST fine dining in Medan! I’ve been dining at Sand’s Dining since their old location, and their new place is just as amazing! The food is always top-notch—highly recommend the dry-aged duck (it doesn’t have any strong smell at all! I’ve tried dry-aged duck elsewhere, and theirs is by far the best), the Wagyu A5 steak (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), or the Ribeye steak. The ambiance is private and cozy, making it perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Service is exceptional, with attentive staff who ensure every detail is just right. Worth every penny! And you know sometimes toilets in public places like restaurants can be 🤢, theirs are the BEST!!!

Note: You can also order from Satei by Sand’s, their sub-brand cafe (no reservations needed, walk-ins available daily). Loveeeee their yakitoris, chawanmushi, and for drinks, you can also order coffee, matcha, etc.—(and please try my favorite!)...

The smokey fragrance from the Hibachi grilled waygu is impressive and every bite of it is satisfying with the doneness just right.

Lobster pasta is a must try. Slipper lobster from Aceh is used and definitely fresh. The sauce is unique, a slight seafood scent and paired well...

Love this place because it can book the whole place just for private lunch or dinner 🥰 The food was delicious and on point. Especially for the Lobster and Dessert was just on point 😋
