Walk in, and boom — WiFi password tossed at me faster than Netflix cancels a good show. Owner hits play on some tunes and immediately asks if we like it or want a change. That’s right, I basically got the DJ role without paying Ticketmaster fees.

Drinks time. Strawberry milkshake? More like Strawberry Lite™, now with 90% less strawberry. Mango juice? It was there. Like Hawkeye in the first Avengers movie — technically present, but no one’s writing fanfiction about it.

Calamari rings with fries next. The calamari were solid, which is impressive since it’s basically seafood onion rings. The fries were frozen, sure, but grilled and salted into a glow-up better than Robert Downey Jr. pre-Iron Man. Sometimes mediocrity tastes amazing.

Sweet prawn salad? Imagine prawns and veggies awkwardly shoved together like a CW teen drama cast. Thankfully, sauce saved the day.

Seafood kebab? That’s the real Avengers Assemble moment. Prawn, calamari, tuna, pineapple, peppers — the whole gang, and some of them spicy enough to reboot your sinuses. Rice, however, was left plain and soulless, like DC trying to do comedy.

Spaghetti marinara with seafood did exactly what the box said. Pasta. Seafood. Done. It’s the Ron Swanson of dishes: no lies, no flair, no salad.

Dessert time: pisang goreng. Fried bananas with ice cream. Bananas were fire — literally hot, crispy perfection. The ice cream scoop? So small Thanos must have snapped half of it away before it hit the table.

Now, here’s the kicker: prices are way better than most restaurants on the island. The food? Overall good. Not Michelin-star “kiss the chef,” but not “cry into your napkin” either. And the real MVPs? The owner and his family. Delightful people, friendlier than Tom Hanks, with views so good they deserve their own Instagram account, plus a breeze that’ll make you forget you’ve been roasted alive by the Indonesian sun.

Final verdict: come for the food, stay for the vibe, leave wondering if the ice cream was ever...

Owner let me sit and enjoy the amazing view without buying anything. His son tried to sell me a necklace(serious sales skills) After declining he went for his next tactic the connect 4 game. If I lost I had to buy something. I ended up to losing to a 6 year old gave him the equivalent of 1 AUD which he's seen pretty chuffed about. The father and I chatted for half an hour about the island, his family and the business and I was on my way. Well worth the stop if you're looking for a stunning 180° view and a wholesome experience. Didn't go down to cave which is a 10...

Wayan and his family welcomed us with open arms and fed us the most delicious and authentic local cuisines.

Nothing was too much trouble during our multiple visits. Our kid's various requests (extra breakfast pancakes etc.) were met and every single meal was perfectly hand crafted, even the special order of 50pcs of tuna and chicken satay skewers cooked by Wayan on his BBQ.We cant thank the family enough.

If youre looking for a real submersive authentic Balinese dining experience with an incredible backdrop and view, head off the beaten track straight to Park...

a hidden gem on the hillside just opposite Nusa Penida. This fantastic place is ideal for chilling out while tasting the best 100% natural mango juices. we were warmly welcomed by the owner who invited us to sit down, we could have stayed several hours because the place is so magical. they offer simple dishes that all westerners love. We will come back again with friends very soon. this little haven of peace where you can hear the birds singing deserves to be known. You don't come to Nusa Ceningan without passing through Park Cave. see you soon 🙏🙏🙏
