A hidden gem on Ceningan island. This mountain top bar is outstanding, the views and the service is sensational. You will need a motorcycle/scooter to get here and travel a pretty crappy bumpy road but it’s worth it. Go slow and you’ll be right. I suggest once you cross the yellow bridge you turn right onto JI nusa ceningan road heading towards the sand ceningan restaurant turn left not far after restaurant and head up towards the pura tri adi sakti Hindu temple stay on that main road and keep climbing up approximately another 2klms and it’s on the right. This way I’m suggesting is a better road than on the other side. We did the round trip. They have a gorgeous infinity pool looking over to Penida island. You can swim for free, take in the amazing views, relax on a deck chair under an umbrella, get a delicious cocktail/mocktail or whatever takes your fancy, grab a bite to eat. Reasonable prices, very relaxing. I highly recommend...

It’s an adventurous ride (basically off road) on the scooter, but so much fun.
We visited for an early dinner and were amazed by the view. Food was delicious - we had the grilled prawns Balinese style and beef rendang, mocktails were also fab.
Our highlight though was the hospitality from Putu. We had a great chat with him about diving as he’s also a skipper for Ceningan divers. He was very attentive making sure we enjoyed our meal and also bring us a mosquito coil to stop us getting eaten alive. Recommend wearing bug spray!
The infinity pool looked so inviting but unfortunately we didn’t have our swimming stuff to enjoy it.
A must visit in Ceningan.
Thank you Putu and team for a...
Read moreThis locally owned bar was a surprising retreat on our ride around Ceningan. While it doesn’t have the design aesthetic of some other establishments owned by foreigners, it’s beautiful owner Putu and the staff … along with gob smacking views and refreshing pool that make it well worth a visit. It’s always a delight to support locals who put their heart into serving you food they are proud of and have a conversation about their beautiful island. We were here mid morning so just had pineapple crepes (best I’ve had) and some drinks. Do yourself favour and make a point of visiting. Putu will make you feel so happy...
