Simple Resto — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Yes, yes, and yes. After endless suffering in Indonesia, I finally met genuine people who are truly passionate about their business and life. The restaurant is definitely simple but with soul! If you're around Penida, pay attention to this place. The food is simply delicious, the service is warmly and amazingly simple. I'd like to recommend it to everyone who's tired of fancy restaurants and wants to experience genuine family hospitality. After being treated poorly at father field bistro (I came cuz reviews and criminal who is on the counter follows me at the narrow street), this place feels like a healing.

I highly recommend it for a casual and delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's lovely. If there's no one in the restaurant, simply go inside the yard, and someone will appear. It's a hidden gem of Penida. I wish there were more people like this family...

I ate here almost everyday, sometimes 2 times in row. Simple resto is really good for simple meal but cooked with heart. Many thanks for the owners for the amazing service and genuine kind. Ppl care about their customers.
