Artrolling Bistro — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

First review and after a month:

1. Very tasty mushroom soup, pizza and cold green tea! I haven't eaten such soup even in Bali in Changu!) And look what a beautiful interior!😍 The music is very pleasant, friendly staff. Great place. There are almost no such atmospheric places🌟

2. Update a month later: I took off two stars for the service. The waiter doesn't understand what he's being told at all, and at the closure of the cafe he was drunk!!

I ordered a dish and asked to cook without bacon. They brought me a dish with a huge amount of bacon! The mushroom soup, I wrote about earlier, has changed. It wasn't salty or like puree soup. Just a soup with mushrooms. Chicken with potatoes was terrible. Very dry, most likely it was already ready and warmed up. The pizza still good.

In the evening I ordered Long Island ice tea. The staff forgot about it… I ordered it again and the barman was asked in which glass to make it… and he made it disgusting! Apparently, the recipe from Google didn't help him at all. He just doesn't know how to make it. Whiskey was definitely there, but there was only ice besides it. It feels like you're drinking pure whiskey

The meals are a good size and fairly priced but very dry and lacking in taste.

I have been here twice now and we have tried 4 different pizzas and various sides.

The best thing was the cheese, its real, but everything else lacks substance and flavour. No "sauce" on the bases, like eating crusty bread.

The toilet was wet, full with mosquitos and rubbish bin full, smelt like poo. Although 5 staff sitting out front chatting and laughing.

Just a lazy place for bule (tourists) to eat and the owners to turn a buck, no care by staff and no real Italian flavour.

Dropped this to 1 star, came in asking for a menu, the place was only 1/4 full, waited 5 minutes then went elsewhere... staff aren't worth...

We tried the pepperoni and paprika pizza (we add the zucchini) and the pesto and ham pizza, to be in indonesia the pizza is great, it's a Naples style pizza, I found only two things not fine but nothing critical, the first one the zucchini was cutted to thick and they was raw, the second one was the crust little bit raw, I think that they cooked the pizza too close to the fire. The dough is good and very light, I give it 4 stars only for these two things, but the taste is good. The dessert are amazing, we tried the banana split and the waffle. You have to try...
