COCOLEAF RESTO — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Came here after a full day tour on the island. There were 4 of us and we hadn't eaten since breakfast. We ordered fried chicken, whole grilled fish, grilled calamari, nasi goreng, mi goreng, gado gado, everything pizza, large bintang, large water and fresh coconut. All of that only set us back 365,000 rupiah. I was shocked!! Everything was tasty, but my favorite was probably the pizza and grilled calamari. Their sambal sauce is also really yummy and has a good kick.

We were the first ones there for dinner so our food came out promptly and hot!

The only down fall the swarms of flies. We literally all used one hand to eat and the other to nonstop swat so the flies would stay off our food. Other then that it was a lovely dinner and I ...

I don't know what's wrong with the staff at this place but I even translated into Indonesian «no meat, eggs, milk and fish» and showed them. Guess what they brought to me? A "vegetable" burger filled with mayonnaise and fried eggs, and a soup based on cow milk.

I told them to replace it, they did it, but how can I trust the place which tells only about some of the ingredients in the menu? What if I had allergy and died here on the table?

If you decided to work with European/American people, designed your place as a western one, we expect you to understand such...

Came here to eat after reading the nice reviews. The drinks were fine but we ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and Spaghetti BBQ, we then saw a random person bringing the frozen spaghetti bought straight from the minimart next house !! A complete joke. When I confronted the owner the said it was homemade and acted like she didn’t understand my questions.
