This place is overrated!!! Unprofessional!!! Way too expensive for average taste!! Oh I am angrily writing this review while Iām sitting here!!! We booked a Ramadan dinner for April 5 on March 31 for our first family gathering in 5 years only to find it very disappointing!!! Paid deposit with cash when we booked it, got there at 6 PM just half an hour before Iftar. The receptionist couldnāt find our reservation even though I handed her the receipt, asked how we paid and the name of reservation even thought itās all written on the receipt! Stood there for 15 mins when half of my family already sat on the table we booked! And other family came to our table with their name on it and they said they didnāt book that table but their food were already on the tables with their name. The time for iftar came, we stood up as they need to start their dinner! They couldnāt find us any table so they brought 2 tables and 4 sets of chairs which was wet to the middle of hallway, when people walked all around us. Waiting another 20 mins after the dinner started only to be serve ice tea, then half of the food came, no utensils, you have to asked, no little bowl to wash your hand. Half of us started eating while the other half still waiting. We had to arrange our own food while we booked way in advance! The receptionist gave us that stinky look from the get go!
Over priced with just average taste, unprofessional service. If I could give ZERO STAR, I would !!!! I will never set food again on this...

If youāre looking for Padang-style cuisine with a creative twist, Manang Kabau is well worth a visit. Located in Padang, this spacious eatery features an open-air conceptāno walls between you and the breezy surroundingsāmaking it a refreshing spot to dine.
The main highlight here is satay, served in several unique variations that you might not expect from traditional Padang fare. The Satay Beef with Yellow Paste is a definite standout: tender, juicy cuts of beef are marinated in a rich, aromatic paste that adds plenty of flavor without overwhelming the natural taste of the meat.
Other crowd-pleasers include the Sate Babek and Tunjang, both equally delicious, and a Sate Lado Ijo (green chili satay) thatās a must-try for those seeking a bit of heat. The portions for the Lado Ijo may be on the smaller side, but the savory balance of meat and green sambal makes it worthwhile.
Perhaps the most surprising option is the Satay Ayam Popāa twist on the classic āAyam Popā dish thatās typically prepared as fried or steamed chicken. Here, it appears as skewers, adding a fun spin and a new way to enjoy a familiar Padang favorite.
Despite offering plenty of space, Manang Kabau isnāt overly crowded, so you can expect a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. Whether youāre curious about innovative variations on local dishes or simply want to enjoy a satisfying meal in a breezy setting, Manang Kabau deserves a spot on your Padang...

The staff very helpful and friendly i hope they were well paid.
Entertainment for the kids, they will give a cow-like head scarf for the kid to enjoy and they give extra fish food so that we can experience fish feeding.
Get to the point, I was ordered Sate Ayam Kuah Kuning dan Sate Daging Kuah Merah. They present it with generous Kuah Merah and Kuah Kuning, as for me the gravies not into my tastebud. Well it served with rice cake "katupek". Sate Daging tenderness considered medium need to chew more.
Sate ayam, good with tenderness but overall both sate are flat.
lucky I ordered Kopi Kayu Maneh, this is so good. i recommend this coffee but if you not favour to sweet, this coffee you need to avoid.
well. i trust my taste. when it is good it is good, when it is flat. i just being honest the...
