Read moreI came here for dinner and as usual the restaurant was not crowded at all. The staffs were humble and the service was ok.
I ordered 3 dishes and 1 dessert: Tahu Jamur (4.8/5) I might say this dish were good, fusion chinese food that was fit with Indonesian's appetite.
Bola Scallop (4/5) Not really my favourite as the I couldn't really feel the scallop in my mouth when I chewed it. But well, it was still ok for me.
Siomay Udang (4/5) Just like the ordinary siomay in some chinese restaurants, but still ok too for me. Not really special.
Sagoo Mangga (4.5/5) It was good, the milk was too sweet so I didn't pour all of it in the main dessert. Overall the mango was tasty and all good if you mixed all the components.

Read moreThis was our first experience in Bukit Timah Singapore BSD. We had a pleasant lunch since the staffs were helpful, the ambiance was good also, the food was good.
First of all, we ordered Golden Salted Fish Skin, the taste was crispy and really go well with chili oil. Next was Dimsum Kombinasi, we can taste prawn in all of them, the sauce was thai sauce and we prefer their chili oil more.
The most recommended dish that we ordered was Iga Babi Goreng Wijen, it was really fragrant, full of flavour also tender and juicy. However, our least favorite was Bukit Timah Singapore Laksa, it has prawn, fish cake, pineapple slices, ginger torch, mackerel fish and udon. Not because it was really bad, but we expect Singapore Laksa that cooks with coconut milk, cockles, bean sprout, fried tofu and fish cake.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, will come back again if...
