The Leaf Restaurant @The Quantis Clubhouse, BSD City — Restaurant in Pagedangan

This new place have great decor. It is located at Eminent cluster clubhouse BSD. You can just google it. The ground floor is called The Leaf and the 2nd floor is called Level Tree. The leaf is restaurant and Level Tree is lounge. But its always being used as a restaurant as this place is always packed with customers.

Okay enough with the background. This place has one very unique Instagramable spot. There's a woman using chinese clothing on the wall. Everybody is loving it and want to take picture near it. It's quite unique.

Now the food. Food is actually good. Yes its pricey in the realm of high end Chinese. And the portion could be better for the price, but the quality is actually quite high.

The sapi lada hitam is really tasty and tender. The duck cooked with ginger is also very tender and don't have any distinct smell like low quality duck meat would have. The cumi lada garam is also really good. Sapo tahu, nasgor yangchow, and kalian however all pretty standard and doesn't justify the price.

Dimsum is also a mix bag. As some of them is quite good but some is not so good like the lo mai kai and cheong fan, both could be better. Much better actually as the lo mai kai is almost tasteless and the cheong fan sauce should be way more salty.

Service is quite good actually. Many reviews said that the service is very slow and not upto standard but when I was there, it actually is pretty good. Very attentive and swift.

All in all we have a good time there and definitively will be back again sometime...

Would definitely recommend again and again. This is such an excellent restaurant. Very tasty, the taste is just right, the pictures on the menu doesn’t deceive you. We munched the food very quickly and a moment of silence was needed. It was THAT good. We tried 5+ dishes and I even forgot to take the pictures.

We tried: Sechuan chicken – watchout for the sechuan peppers! The meat was very tender and juicy. Udang asam manis - got strawberries in it, such a lovely surprise. mapo tofu – it taste kinda unique, it may contain wansui. The sapo tofu was another realm–very umami XO sauce with teri & ebi 👍🏻🫶🏼 cumi cabe garam - it was fine, a safe choice for people eating together. The guilinggao has a very strong herby flavor which I liked so much. The soft mango pudding - omg, you also hv other fruits in it. For durian lovers, please do try the fried durian, you will be pleased 🫶🏼 last but not least the french beans with minced meat - baby buncis with EBI again, ugh umami heaven 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Next time I’d like to try the dimsum but I can say I had a very happy tummy. Very great ambiance, I ate on the second floor and it rained pretty hard but it felt cool, not stuffy, and not rained on 🙈 couldnt help but think how so well circulated the place was! Great for families as well as coming by yourself as they have various seating.

Pretty pricey but acceptable if you eat together, plus they got promo sooo thank...

The Leaf Restaurant is a delightful dining option located in The Quantis Club. From the moment you enter, you'll be greeted by a stylish with traditional Chinese decor that created a relaxing atmosphere & cozy ambiance.

The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. They provided suggestions for dishes and were quick to refill our tea cups throughout the meal.

Now onto the food! The dimsum selection was extensive, and everything we tried was delicious. The steamed shrimp dumplings were cooked to perfection with juicy, flavorful filling, and the barbecue pork buns were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. I particularly enjoyed the Rengginang rice, which was cooked to perfection and had a fantastic flavor.

The prices at The Leaf Restaurant are a bit on the higher side, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality and taste. The portions are generous, and the presentation of each dish is beautiful.

Overall, I highly recommend this dimsum restaurant for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious dimsum experience. The service, ambiance, and food were all exceptional, and I will definitely be returning...
