Hygge Cafe BSD — Restaurant in Cisauk

Honestly, I was hesitant to leave a review, but I believe this place has great potential. To help improve the experience, I would like to share some feedback:

First, regarding the Wi-Fi, I noticed there were two connections available, but it turned out they were only for operational use. In my opinion, this is not an ideal approach for customer service.

Second, I ordered the mushroom avocado toast. While my expectation was aligned with the menu display, the mushrooms were not properly sautéed, and the avocado did not taste like fresh avocado. Instead, it seemed to be guacamole dip meant for packaged nachos.

Third, the restroom was quite wet and unclean when I visited, which was disappointing.

Fourth, upon arrival, I was recommended to sit in a designated area. I requested to move to a different spot, which was allowed at first. However, after working and having a meeting, I was asked to move again to a seat near the window, despite the cafe being empty. This relocation felt unnecessary and inconvenient.

Fifth, while I do not mind staff chatting among themselves, I suggest keeping their conversations professional and appropriate for the setting.

Once again, I share these comments because I truly believe this cafe has great potential given its atmosphere, concept, and location. I hope you take this feedback to heart and improve your service quality. Excellent service will help your business grow sustainably, while focusing solely on quantity risks being just a one-season wonder.

had a super weird experience here. i have to say that food was actually pretty good. i actually enjoyed the quality of food that i had here. but this was immediately forgotten when the manager was being extremely weirdly "baperan". my brother who is a military person has naturally a very heavy loud voice and a tough discipline coaching. after so many errors in service (some menu we ordered did not come but many others that we did not order came even in multiple amounts), some of us already showed complaints by gestures and normal voice tone but the orders are still errors, my brother finally delivered his complaints with heavy sharp voice tone to some of the waiters and lastly to the manager. to cut it short, our bill was closed by the manager, we could't pay and could't even leave tips to the staffs. the manager said she was greatly offended because my brother scolded her (for being slow and to just check the notes correctly) while looking at his phone. she said never in her 10 years of work life had she ever been treated like that (wow we thought maybe she shouldt be working in the service industry). we were not allowed to give any money to her staff she said because she could still get money with halal ways (i am assuming she thought we were haram?). we were still arguing to at least leave money for the staffs. but she made it clear that we have to immediately get out of the resto by persistently pointing the way out. what a nite!...

Located very strategically in the center of Downtown BSD, very close to Aeon Mall, ICE BSD, green office park and also The Breeze mall, you can find this cafe right in the corner of foresta traffic light in front of Unilever office building.

Parking lot is huge, can cover both cars and motorbike and also bikes. Plus point is free of parking charge hehe.

The food is okay, but the breakfast menu is goood! Coffee and drinks are okay but they serve beers and wine as well that gave this place a + point. Price are reasonable (for a Jakarta area cafe) yet quite pricey for serpong area.

The cafe interior is nice and cozy, plus some photogenic area to beautify your IG feed...
