Kedai Western Bintaro — Restaurant in Pondok Aren

First lemme say that this should be actually 2 star ⭐️⭐️ review, but gave 4 to support that young owner/manager who try his best to make this place works. Been there 3 times cuz it’s near my home. Positive aspects: place is super clean, I appreciate that a lot and the owner was super kind and friendly. Waitress kind as well. That’s it. Bad aspects: constant lack of food in menu, 3 days in a row: no quesadillas, no burger etc. Ordered fish and chips, it didn’t taste good, chicken wings were really salty and “garlic” kinda sauce way too hot (why it’s even hot though). And lastly, coleslaw salad cannot be made recently, cabbage inside must be soft already, not crunchy. I think if u want to make western food, you should hire someone who knows how to cook it, current staff definitely does not. Please get rid off fake plants, in west we don’t put plastic greenery in restaurant, use the real plants or don’t put anything at all. In my opinion place also lack it’s unique interior - I found plain walls and random food pictures without any soul or character. These times ppl like to come places and do IG stuff, I found nothing there to attract youngsters. Parking is barely for 2-3 cars to be honest. Anyway - best...

Sudah tutup? Padahal masakannya enak2, tapi bad service memang merusak mood. Saya jadi ingat bulan puasa tahun lalu, di mana kami telah melengkapi koleksi stamp 10× dine in dan berhak dapat free grill. Waktu memesan chicken grill, katanya out of stock. Tapi aneh kemudian diralat ada, tapi harus order minimum Rp150 ribu. Langsung mood rusak. Semestinya kalau out of stock ya out of stock dong... Apalagi di term and condition nggak ada syarat harus order min. segitu. Padahal kami juga akan order lebih dari Rp150 ribu. Tapi karena kesannya licik, tidak amanah, kami tinggalkan resto dan sejak itu kami tdk pernah ke sini lagi. Padahal biasa seminggu kami bisa ke sini 2-3 loh. Bye2!

Hari ini: Kecewa nih... sudah nongkrong di sini sejak jam 5 lewat untuk buka puasa, sampe lewat waktu buka puasa belum nongol makanannya. Padahal resto sedang sepi. Cuma kami berdua loh di sini! Cuma telat 10 menit sih... tapi kan!!!

3 minggu lalu: Saya order chicken steak (dulu namanya chicken grilled), kali ini rasanya mantap! Mushroom saucenya creamy, tasty. Chickennya juga diberi bumbu... terima kasih ya sudah memperhatikan keluhan pelanggan. Pastinya akan mampir lagi dong buka puasa... apalagi dragonfruit juicenya segerrr!

3 bulan lalu: Belakangan koq harga naik kualitas menurun? Hari ini saya pesan grilled chicken. Waktu masih sering pesan online, mushroom saucenya kental, creamy dan banyak. Hari ini saya kecewa karena mushroom saucenya encer dan sedikit. Rasanyapun hambar. Ayam panggangnya memang biasa hambar, tapi mushroom saucenya yang membuat rasanya sedap, sehingga saya ingin memesannya lagi dan lagi. Sayang ya kalau tidak bisa mempertahankan kualitas...

Surprisingly notable food and coffee, opens at 7 am, with the necessities for WFA (large tables, electrical outlets, WiFi, comfy seating, cool air), and just a stone throw away from my kid's school, hence a perfect place to work while waiting.
