We came across D'Tukad on Klook and purchased a day pass there. Our pass came with swing access which was a little terrifying, but still a lot of fun. The staff helped us take lots of photos and videos of our swing experience on our own phones which turned out really beautifully. If you'd like a daybed, you have to meet a minimum spend of Rp 800.000 so that was a bit of a tall order for two of us, but we made it work by slowly eating and drinking throughout the day. Daybeds are first come first serve though, and they can't be reserved. The pool was nice but quite chilly even in the early afternoon. But you get a great view of the rice terraces right from the restaurant & pool which was truly wonderful. There aren't a lot of activities to do as D'Tukad is small, but if you're looking to relax and unwind, it's a great place to spend a few hours with a great view!

Beautiful views! The staff were all attentive and service was great. You do have to pay the 25k to enter the restaurant since it’s on the rice terraces. Happy hour is buy 2 get 1 free. Prices are higher than other areas, but the location attracts the clientele. It started to pour while we were there and the staff made sure to provide us with an umbrella to get back to the car. The staff by the car park also put a brick in the road so we could step over the flooding without getting wet.

Day club in Ubud. Swimming pool, swing present. Nothing is free here. Dress for swing 100K, swimmimg pool towel 30K. Entry fee is there. Food good but very costly. Service very very slow and loose. Professionalism lacking. Construction going on next place so huge sound. Pool size small and water contain huge amount of chlorine irritates both eye and skin. Food takes long time to come. Rice terrace in front can be hiked easily. Pro is only view and environment.

Sadly, I am very sure I got Bali Belly from here. I’ve traced back my steps and found that it is very likely, as it is the only place that me and my GF didn’t share the food, and my GF during our holiday didn’t get Bali Belly at all. It was the worst meal I ate while in Bali for 7 days in terms of flavour, portion and presentation. I ordered the big breakfast which was underwhelming, cold and small in size. I believe the side salad on the plate, which was washed salad leaves, which was still slightly wet on the plate, and covered with salad dressing, was poorly handled and washed with the tap water. However, it could be the poached eggs, or bacon, or bread. It’s hard to truely know. We have only eaten at 4.5+ star restaurants in Bali, and this was the only one that was a much lower 3.8 star. Also, seeing many reviews on the food being poor quality, their treatment of animals in cages, and the quality of the pool water, it starts to paint a compelling argument for the likelihood of it being here I got Bali Belly. In addition to the food, I also ordered a Luwak Coffee which I noticed was only 60k prior to our food coming out. I tasted it, and as I previously tasted the Luwak Coffee from the place itself (on the first day we arrived) and knew the taste exactly, I knew immediately this was a fake Luwak Coffee. The coffee also was poorly strained with a large amount of ground coffee left in the mug. I found it unpleasant and kindly asked for a simple long black from the espresso machine. I knew in that moment, that they tried to fool me with the coffee, as many tourists may not know the difference or haven’t tried it before. This rings alarm bells to me. For a restaurant to try to fool its patrons like this, what other kinds of corners are they cutting?

It’s a shame because the place is beautifully situated on the rice fields and the view is truely stunning. And we found the service from the staff to be kind and pleasant. So not giving it a negative review in the atmosphere or service.

I also want to point out, me and my GF took EVERY precaution we could to not get Bali Belly while visiting for 7 days. We never put the tap water near our mouths (brushing teeth with bottle water, hand sanitiser after washing hands). Always sanitised after touching money, tables, taxis or bloody anything I thought might be contaminated. It was on the front of our minds and I still got it. My GF didn’t, and we ate all the same things, except for here. Of course, there is the possibility that it wasn’t here, and I’m simply wrong, and I’m willing to accept that, but with all the evidence and arguments I’ve put forward above, I will leave Bali being convinced it was here. I feel bad leaving this review, but would feel bad not saying and for someone to experience what I did. Bali Belly is...

Overall a decent place with great service, views and a decent spread of food choices, however, I am giving 4-stars because everyone is expected to pay an entrance fee to this place, as it is supposed a direct linkway to the Ceking Terrace trail below.

Nonetheless, the fee is fair but I do believe the intermix of the trail and the coffee club does confused me a little.

Trail wise, it has a mixed varying degree of challenges going up and down the padi fields, but it is definitely worth the little exercise for the different views across this mini valley.

At the end of the trail, the easy access to food and drinks makes it a worthy spot to spend a good 2-4 hours around, depending on your pace and how long you would like to spend at this stop along the way.

Love the views from their restaurants, which has different levels of seats you can choose from.

A decently recommended place to spend your early morning till late lunch.

They also have a few swings and one of the signature big pools nearby given it is supposedly a large pool club attached to this coffee club, which you can lounge in the pool instead if you choose to!

Overall, a decent visit if you are...

I saw this place on tiktok and said it won’t be crowded, which is true but my experience here was dissatisfying. The changing room is a bigger toilet also used by the staff, it is next to the showers so it is also a bit wet, no hangers for bags or towels when you are changing so you can place your stuff only on the toilet which was dirty as well. I had to wait for the staff member to finish her time on the toliet to be able to change. There are other toilets upstairs so not sure why they don’t use that when this is the dedicated changing room. I asked multiple times if there is any other option as I was waiting for a long time, they said I can change in the toilets upstairs (which are smaller)… There is 25T IDR in cash at the entrance for entry and 100T IDR for the pool, they gave you a towel and a drink. I wanted to eat here as well and asked for my drink, as of now I am still waiting for that drink to arrive🙄 I asked 3 times, also nobody came back to ask for my food order, I waited 15 mins and left. The view and the pool are great and it wasn’t crowded that time. If you want to have a sun-bed it is best to book it advance but there are also...
