Enchanting Dining Experience at Tis Restaurant in Tegalalang!
Our recent visit to Tís Restaurant, nestled amidst the serene rice terraces of Tegalalang just ten minutes from our home, was nothing short of spectacular. The setting alone, with its breathtaking views, set the stage for a memorable meal, but it was the food and service that truly made our experience unforgettable.
The cuisine at Tis was exquisite, featuring a delightful array of local dishes that were both beautifully presented and delicious. However, the highlight of our evening was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by two charming Balinese hostesses. Their warmth and attentiveness not only enhanced our dining experience but also allowed us to engage in meaningful conversations that enriched our understanding of the local culture.
Yoka and Putri were knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, making us feel truly welcomed and valued. Their professionalism and personal touches made our visit special, and we left with great appreciation for their hospitality.
We were thoroughly impressed with Tis Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dining experience Ubud, Bali. The combination of stunning scenery, delectable food, and outstanding service provided by Yoka and Putri ensures that a meal here is not just about eating but about enjoying a moment that will be cherished long after...
Read moreThe only catch is the view. The view is beautiful. You get to see the rice terrace. The price of getting a bean bag / bed by the pool (800k) is quite expensive considering the quality of the food. You could get a table elsewhere in the restaurant instead if you don’t mind not dipping. We were there during lunch ard 1pm and it was crowded so by the pool had minimum spend. The rest of the tables were free. We moved 3 times because we really wanted the sun and the pool and the view. But we didn’t came hungry however it was not tough hitting the minimum spend. We did a lot of eating, went into the pool and also walked a few doors down to do the activities (zip line across the terrace), after seeing some people in the air while being in the pool.
The place also had their own version of Bali swing and clothes rental. Overall nice place and atmosphere. We stayed about 4-5hours trying to hit minimum spend for 2 pax. It was expensive tbh for the taste of the food and just to have a seat by the pool. In comparison, We did Finn’s club on the bean bags and the minimum spend was decent (cheaper than what we spent) with a very nice experience.
Those are the food we had alongside with fish tacos. And many 4 additional drinks and we had to top up extra aside from the 800k they...

Came here due to the positive reviews. Beautiful setting, overpriced, ok food and exceptional service up to a point.
Started really well, very good coordination leading me to a table with someone meeting me at every level (you basically go down the hillside terraces).
Service was probably best I've had around here: there was check back, server was around reachable most of the time. Issues started at the end though.
Food: mediocre, got nasi goreng there were like 3 pro belly cubes - I asked for more protein, got salmon - this tiny dried out tail end piece pictured came at idr60k (extra protein top up price).
Asked for bill. First got someone else's bill (second day in a row but different establishment, starting to suspect it may be deliberate).
Then on my bill there was still a drink I ordered that they didn't have. Had to ask them to change the bill again.
Total: idr374k for nasi goreng, extra salmon, matcha latte (charged me 20k extra for coconut milk alternative without letting me know) and a dessert. Ofc hidden charges with some tax and service charge added to the bill on top of the menu price.
All in all, the most expensive meal I've had on the island and far from the best. You're paying premium for the...
