My experience with this studio was quite disappointing and unprofessional. From the start, it was evident that the team working on our project lacked the necessary expertise. The owner often demonstrated a misunderstanding of basic concepts, frequently asking staff fundamental questions, while the project manager seemed unfamiliar with standard industry terminology. This resulted in significant delays, as communication between us and the crew was inefficient and time-consuming.
The studio's workflow felt outdated, leading to inefficiencies. Simple tasks took far longer than expected, despite providing them with all necessary materials. The final versions received contained numerous errors, which were excused by the team’s limited English proficiency. We found ourselves correcting errors, sourcing additional materials, and assisting with basic tasks, even though we were billed as if the studio had completed all the work.
The situation worsened near the project's end when unexpected fees were demanded, despite our prior agreement on a fixed project fee. The team's slow pace—only dedicating a few hours each day to our project—extended the timeline well beyond the promised delivery date. When we contested these additional charges, communication ceased, and we faced personal attacks, including unfounded comments about the potential failure of our project.
Their social media conduct was similarly unprofessional. They published raw, unfinished content without our consent and delayed taking it down when requested, showing a lack of regard for confidentiality and client relations.
The editing team appeared overwhelmed and understaffed. While one editor displayed real talent, their availability was limited due to a heavy workload. The pricing structure felt unrealistic and unjustifiable; for example, billing hours for simple graphic creations seemed excessive.
Ultimately, our project ended up costing much more than the initially agreed price, and we had to handle much of the editing ourselves to achieve a usable final product, even recreating components from scratch.
Additionally, as a co-working space, we felt pressured by the staff to make more food orders, despite being regulars who primarily came to work. This pressure, combined with the poor quality of the food, forced us to leave for meals elsewhere.
After a considerable amount of frustration and unprofessionalism, communication ceased entirely, with the studio stopping all work on our project and even removing us from their work groups. Their behavior demonstrated a lack of professionalism at every level—slow responses and disregard for client satisfaction. I would advise anyone considering their services to explore other options, as this studio lacks the expertise and customer care necessary for serious...

My recent visit to Lighthouse Cafe and Studio left me thoroughly disappointed. The owner's behavior towards customers, including myself and the local staff, was shockingly rude. Not only did he rudely dismiss a Gojek delivery person, but he also treated our video production team with disrespect, prohibiting certain activities without valid reason. Despite spending money on food, drinks, and video recording services, we were met with disdain.
It's disheartening to witness such poor customer service and lack of professionalism, especially in a place that could potentially cater to a diverse clientele. Instead of fostering a welcoming atmosphere, the owner's behavior creates a sense of discomfort and alienation. As someone who has worked internationally in various professional settings, including renowned financial institutions, I was taken aback by the culture shock experienced in my own country.
While there may be policies in place, they should never justify mistreatment of customers and staff. It's crucial for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold basic standards of respect and courtesy. Regrettably, I cannot recommend Lighthouse Cafe and Studio to others, despite its potential for hosting video productions and webinars. Hopefully, the management will recognize the importance of customer-centric practices and work towards creating a more inclusive and welcoming...
