Xich Lo Kerobokan — Restaurant in Bali

I tried the pancake and the papaya salad. The salad was very good and they were generous with the shrimp. The pancake was just OK, it was little charred and it was thicker than it should have been. Good Vietnamese bhan xeo should be thin and crispy. They were generous with the seafood so I have them points for that. I will come back and try some other dishes later on.

The atmosphere could have been much better had they done a few changes. There is good outdoor seating with a great rice field view but it's alsi by a very busy street. They could have put up some noise barriers or more plants to block out the street noise and view. That small inexpensive change would do wonders in my opinion.

I was debate giving a three or four stars but the salad was very good and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the other dishes are at good as other reviewers said. I'll come back and order something else and adjust my review...

Wisata Kuliner Bali Vietnamese restaurant Xich Lo is a simple Vietnamese restaurant in a stunning location in Bali overlooking the Kerobokan ricefields and the volcanoes in the distance.

Xich Lo is a simple place with a small menu, but sitting there looking out over the ricefields with the volcanoes in the distance at sunset with the passing traffic just a murmur in the background was totally sublime.

The menu is pretty small, and on Sundays they have special group dinner, with dozens of dishes for four people.

Kerobokan Vietnamese restaurant Xich Lo was a really lovely surprise and I will go there again – such a peaceful Bali restaurant in such a stunning position.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish at Xich Lo. This place is hands-down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Bali. The food is incredibly fresh, healthy, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality in every bite.

The staff are so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind — they make you feel right at home. From the pho to the rice paper rolls and fresh herbs, everything was perfection. It’s clear they care about both their ingredients and their guests.
