Visited Mie 88 Dimsum, Noodle & Chinese Food at Petitenget Street for late breakfast. In this visit, I ordered their Mie Special 88 (chicken & mushroom noodles served with dumplings and fishballs), Siomai Udang (Prawn Shumai) and Lumpia Kulit Tahu (Deep Fried Bean Curd Skin with Chicken). Their noodles is typical simple salty savory chicken noodles topped with savory chopped chicken and mushroom. Their dumplings is delicious, but in my opinion their fishballs is just so so. Also recommend their dimsums menu, their Siomai Udang is tasty and Lumpia Kulit Tahu is nice served with chili oil. Their serving time also pretty quick, all the menus came almost at the same time, which is really nice in my opinion. Overall, it's a recommended place to get your noodles dose for breakfast while in Seminyak area. For this visit to Mie 88 Dimsum, Noodle & Chinese Food Seminyak, i'm gonna rate them 3.5 out of 5. Mie special 88 - the noodle texture was spot on with just the right amount of chewiness. The dish is packed with flavour and saltiness, but is balanced with the acar-acar (pickled veg), soup and pangsit (dumplings)
Bakwan goreng - Crispy and filled with flavour. Goes well with the sambal (chilli) if you can handle it!
Onde (Fried red bean glutinous rice balls) - Perfectly fried whilst keeping the chew texture of the glutinous rice. Finishing off a meal with is the perfect way to end.
Siomay (dimsim) - Love the texture and sweetness of this, personally I love mine in the soup
Charsiu Pie - Who knew Charsiu (pork) paired in light and crispy pastry could be so delicious! Sweeter than I expected, so I nearly consider it dessert :)
Overall a very delicious and filling meal (for two). It's on my list of...

I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves a warning to others. I was served rotten food-not slightly off, rotten. When I raised my concern, instead of an apology or even a basic level of customer service, the staff tried to gaslight me into thinking it was normal. The attitude was smug and dismissive, as if they were doing me a favor by letting me pay for food that shouldn't have left the kitchen in the first place.
I don't mind paying for quality, but I do mind being treated like I'm the problem for pointing out something that could literally make someone sick. If your kitchen can't get the basics right-fresh food and respect for customers-then you're in the wrong business.
Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values hygiene, accountability, or...
