PESCE SBRONZO - Italian Style Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Bali

Love, care and skill was put into the making of all the selections including the drinks - even the pineapple juice.

If I could have fit any more between my husband and I we would have ordered more but alas will have to visit again and again. Not sure how we did not discover this restaurant sooner all these years.

First we were served an appetizer of sardines on toast. Scrumptious even when that is not my favorite fish to eat. My husband was in heaven.

We ordered the gnocchi al salmone, fritto misto de mare I verdure (mixed fried seafood with vegetable frites), cappallacci con gamberi (a seafood dumpling) with pistachio bits. We asked for some bread to soak up the oils and sauces remaining. Even the bread was hot and outstanding in texture, stiff, good for soaking!

It was too good, we were stuffed and did not want to leave such a serene space just yet. Ordered an iced capuccino, tiramisu and crema catalana (apple taste similar to creme brulee but thick and not thin like when you cut into a jelly).

Without a question, Pesce Sbronzo is one of the best Italian in Bali. Forget other hip trendy instagramable touristy restaurants with ordinary and so so Italian food. Come here instead and taste the true and authentic italian food! Me and my friend we had zuppa di polpo, zuppa di pesce, and gnocchi alla pescatora. All of the dish were super good and (seafood were fresh and chef is super generous with the seafood!), tasty, delicious. The desert Crema Catalana is a must, as well as the Lemon Sorbet. My gosh, I am never a fan of sorbet but I somehow love their sorbet! All of them are made by the italian chef. Now I know where to find authentic Italian food, will definitely come back! The service was also very good and we had a nice little chat with the chef. The whole dining experience is just memorable! I really highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!
