Peacockoffie Palagan — Restaurant in Sariharjo

Got my attention while walking along the street during my first business trip to Yogyakarta. The sign of “Peacock Coffee” was really eye catching. I went to get light food and surprisingly found out the food is not bad. I ordered macaroni and chicken pie and I like them all. The hot drinks that I ordered was Hazelnut Latte and it was tasty too! The place is cozy and quiet, really suitable for working and studying. There are lots of students here. Another good thing Ng to mention, parking lots are provided for their guests. Oh yea one more thing to mention is that they provided smoking areas for smokers upstairs so do not go upstairs if you are not one. Smokers will definitely love it here.

However, it is quite warm inside here. I came at night but still feel warm. Imagine in the afternoon, it will be so hot.

Cozy and quiet place, has a homey ambience which is perfect for studying and working. Coffee is okay. Personally, I think the prices are too expensive for a student like me, though, and the food is mostly microwaved (not made fresh to order) even though it's still tasty enough. I had bolognese spaghetti and the sauce is yummy even though the pasta itself becomes dry because of the microwave. Such a cozy place for doing work and avaliable 24 hours straight. My favorite is their Hot Peppermint Latte. Also u can refill twice for Lychee Tea for IDR25k. The price is the same for all beverages, tho. There are 2 floor and the stair is inside. I think both of the place is no-smoking room. The room temperature is quite low because there are 2 AC for quite narrow place even so there are "hotspot" to avoid excessive cold air. The electric plug is plenty so that's not a problem.
