Fat Phó • Semarang — Restaurant in Semarang

It's my second time here and I'm pleased to some extend. This time from my table I can see and hear the kitchen so well (especially the grill and bar area).

First the chef in black jacket is so good dividing manpower to overcome some hard requests. He really pay attention to the bartender who read the orders. And he seems really nice to his crew, not bossy and stuffs.

Second the crew really knows what they're doing, they really move efficiently. The hygiene is really good because now they wear plastic gloves. They really pay attention to some requests and it makes me comfortable with my food.

Third, the bartender has a really good attitude & habits. He constantly saying "Tolong" & "Thank you" everytime. He keeps washing his hands everytime he touches something. Even he didn't always wear plastic gloves, it makes me comfortable seeing him so consistent on his hygiene, especially on his food. The most special thing about him is the Mango Sticky Rice, the presentation is way much better than the last time, and the sweet sauce on the sticky rice is so generous and makes the flavor richer. Plus, his voice is so good, he sings really well when he wash the cutleries.

Last, is kinda turndown, the waiter is kinda grumpy. It will be perfect if he smile and laugh more. And I don't know it's just me or anything, but the Banh Mi is quite smaller than the last time. And the broth is darker than the one in Bandung, but somehow the flavor...

Baru pertama kali ini saya mencoba makanan ala vietnam dan pertama ada mungkin di kota Semarang, jadi Fat Pho ini menurut ku jenis makanan noodle atau makanan berbahan dasar mie yang diberi topping daging . Untuk rasa Yang saya pesan lumayan enak , kuah nya segar , mie nya juga bertekstur halus , daging nya juga tidak alot , tapi saya tidak tau itu yang sayuran hijau sayuran apa jadi tidak saya makan wkwk . Tapi keseluruhan rasa nya enak dan mantap, sedap dan menggiurkan, bisa di campur cabai dan kecap juga . Untuk minuman relatif sama seperti tempat makan atau resto lainnya . Oke untuk pelayanan cukup ramah , kita datang dan langsung di hampiri , tidak jutek dan bagus . Untuk suasana juga ala ala vitenam gaes jadi cukup menarik ketika makan disini , tempat makan dan duduk juga luas tidak sempit, musik juga pas ga begitu kenceng , jadi keseluruhan tempat nyaman tapi yang saya kaget ternyata tempat nya berada di lantai 2 . Cocok sih buat yang abis foto di studio sebelah bisa langsung mampir kesini ya kan , tapi untuk yg bertujuan langsung ke fat pho lokasinya berada di lantai dus gaes . Untuk pembayaran disini dibayar setelah makan , jadi pembayaran disini hampir mirip model warung makan di Indonesia . Dan disini Halal bagi yang muslim bisa juga untuk merasakan segarnya kuah pho . Disini juga parkir luas untuk mobil dan motor kebersihan dilokasi juga terawat bersih , dan yang terpenting lokasinya Instragramable gaes . Makan juga datang tidak terlalu lama jadi sangat cocok bagi yang sudah lapar jadi tidak menunggu terlalu lama disini . Disini juga ada menu desert lainya seperti puding dan lain lain yang juga enaknya . Tapi disini saya pesan yg berkuah aja . untuk yang memiliki anak kecil atau balita disini juga ada kursi kusus balita secara keseluruhan 9.9/10 menurut saya . Sebagai lidah orang Indonesia yang memakan masakan ala ala vitenam . Jadi cukup sekian ulasan...

Ordered pho bo, my friends ordered the bun and banh mi The tastes really does fall off especially if you're no stranger to vietnamese cuisine. I lived there to know how the foods here really lacks flavor. And for indonesians who likes mixes of flavor in their foods, i dont think any of my friends would come back here to eat

Could really improve on the flavor and spices since all i taste from the soup is just water. No taste from the beef / chicken stock

Banh mi is just as usuall since vietnamese also dont use sauces there. Of course it depends on fresh ingredients

Oh and did i mention...
