Byron Selective — Restaurant in Semarang

The place looks nice and cozy. But the food is not worth it. Affordable food but tastes so bland. Servers are also nice. But food so so.

Calamari’s breading is so hard, the squid inside is too fried and became too thin already because of too much frying. Good thing they replaced it, it’s softer to bite but still not good 😂 it just didn’t taste well. So bland and cannot taste the squid anymore.

Heavy platter not ok also. I can forgive the crab rangoon though.

We also tried chicken creamy pasta (we disregarded the chicken, it doesnt match the creamy pasta). It’s too seasoned with herbs.

This is the first time i tasted a waffle that doesnt taste like a waffle 😂 so crispy and no sweetness at all. Like plain...

Definitely a place that you should visit if you go to Semarang. This place was cozy and homey. Very good for family dinner or group dinner.

All food here are GOOD!!! Chicken, beef, salmon and eggs was cooked precisely. I don't need to describe a lot because overall its very good. And you MUST TRY it by yourself.

It's such a nice thing to know that Semarang have place like this, and if you got confused where do you want to hangout or gather, I suggest this place. For the price is not so cheap nor expensive. About 60k/person.

Good food, good mood. Byron has speciality on western food. The steak was tender and great, the ribs was sooooo tender and tasty. No effort to bite it. The creamy pasta was also yummy, creamy but not too much. Pefectly taste 👌 The price was bit expensive in Semarang, yes, but you wont regret with the food taste. Worth with the quality of the food.
