Gohyang Jib — Restaurant in Semarang

Wonderful! So I was celebrating my birthday with my big family there, and the first thing that they like was the appetizers, which was actually the side dishes that later should be eaten together with the main dishes. There were a lots of side dishes, and we can ask for more if we want, and of course, it's all for free!! the main dish, the price showed the taste, and personally i'm satisfied with it. I ordered food that I assumed my whole family would love it (since some were not familiar with Korean style food), and they all love it!! They're all full, and love the food!! I'm not sure but maybe since i ordered lots of food, i got the rice for free. and you know what more you can get for free? the drink! You can get free cold Korean tea for as much as you want! I would love to visit this...

What can I say, this place is very nice. It's located near my home, a very huge bonus. A lot of Koreans here, like really, they like to be there and they like to eat there since the foods are accurate at taste, servings and many more aspects that just feel, Korean.

The waitresses are very polite, they'll even greet you in Korean, giving you some Korean vibes. Food is great, a lot of pork, the more pork the better for a Korean restaurant, my brother loves the Jampong, I like the sweet pork and my mom loves the tteoboki. Great food. One of the best in Semarang actually. Full of koreans. Side dishes given were very generous (they even gave steamed egg).

Service is quite poor. Side dishes were given ONLY at beginning and end of our meal. We had 5 dishes and in between the dishes we ask for more side dishes but was only served when we finish all 5 or our dishes( roughly 25 minutes ). This is disappointing especially there were only 3 other tables when we ate.

I had hoped this would change on my second visit but nothing really change. Probably one of the most authentic korean restaurants in Semarang but wish they would have provided better service.
