Maybe I'm just unlucky, but It doesn't live to it's rating. I go here with high a expectations seeing the review and ratings. They didn't met any of my expectations. The mie goreng is underwhelming and it is the better dish served. No any special topping. It's just fish cake, fishballs, vegs, and egg. The seasoning is actually the better one tho. Nasi goreng bebek panggang. Visually no duck meat whatsoever. Really disappointing flavor, no smoky flavor, visually no eggs used, only a few yolks here and there, and did I mention the flafor is disappointing? Cuz it is very bland. Not recommended. Lumpia kulit tahu. The best dish I ordered. It taste okay, a bit too gamey, but the tofu skin cover it up. Udang saus mayonnaise. Small shrimps with sad tasting mayo sauce. Very disappointing.
The juice have lots of variety, that's one I can give thumb up about the resto. The parking is plenty, and the location is very good. The interior is good, with the vibe of old family restaurant. The price...
Read moreFood was okay, good value for money. Spent about IDR 350k for 7 pax. The downside for me is the terrible service. I came here with my family and my grandparents and was seated on a table very far away from the entrance (my grandparents aged above 80, they can walk but difficult to walk that far). We were seated on a table with 2 long chairs without back support which can only sit 6 people. So we asked to change (at least add 2 chairs with back support for the elderly people). Waiter said yes but then forgot so we had to dragged the chairs ourselves. Another waiter scold us saying it was not allowed to change chairs. Only 1 menu was given, no waiter around to take our order, wrong order of food (dessert was the first one to be served, rice was the last), and additional request took forever (10 mins for 1 glass of hot tea, come on 😐). Not the kind of service I expected, but if you are only here for the food then a simple eat and go will suffice as the food is...
Read moreThe go to place for chinese food. Good place to bring a family, as there are various options for sitting (even for a large family). Judging by the big number of people going in and out of the restaurant, I was guessing that this place would be good, and I was right. The food was delicious, the tauco sauce was umami and fermented just right. Steamed chicken (native chicken) was superb, it was chewy in a good way and the soup was umami. Both roasted duck and chicken were decent. The "Es Salju Putih" was delicious and refreshing. The "Es Beringin" in my opinion was a bit off, it has chinese/Indonesia mixed "Es" taste but with soda. "Baby Buncis with XO sauce" was a bit too salty, a good helping of rice is needed to eat it.
The place was clean, the staff very polite, including the security and parking attendant. This is definitely not a romantic restaurant, but then almost no chinese food restaurants are, it's always a family place. Overall it was a...
