Before booking, my office person asked for the type of room and they provided information that the grand deluxe room was more spacious than the standard and got free access to the executive longue including breakfast but the room price was around 30% more expensive. I chose the room because of the facilities they mentioned and I got room 1618 but it turned out that the room was as large as a standard room and what was more painful when I wanted to have breakfast on the executive longue I was greeted by a female officer there stating that since the pandemic they only provide cereal, coffee and tea in executive longue so if there is nothing and it is not different from the standard room why am I not informed before buying a room which is 30% more expensive without more facilities??? I visited the reception to have my room key card reset, but it still did not work. From my floor, I contacted the reception again and was asked to reset the card once more. Understandably, I declined and requested that the front office team assist in opening my room. Unfortunately, they were still unable to do so. A technician was then called, who determined that the battery in the room's door lock had run out. Once the room was finally opened, I noticed that it had not been cleaned, and the laundry had not been collected, with various reasons provided for these oversights. Such an issue would not have occurred if the management had provided clear instructions to their team to conduct regular maintenance, which would have prevented the battery from running out.
