To be honest I didn't go dining in this restaurant. I had privilege to be invited for a wedding reception lunch at Hotel Padma ballroom. And since the menu was a modern approach of Chinese cuisine I had assumed that the chefs were from Kim Tia.

The lunch started with an appetizer combo of Thai beef salad in rice paper roll, fried oyster with sesame sauce and roasted duck with hoisin sauce. The chef was trying to open up our palates with three different textures of small dishes. They were all OK, with the fried oyster as the highlight. I would've preferred the ducks with more fat and the sauce for Thai beef salad roll served separately as not all people enjoy the spicy and sweet taste of it.

They were followed by a refreshingly healthy chicken soup. Nothing spectacular about this soup, but I guess it's a good thing because it showed chefs' ability to refrain themselves from overdoing it. A touch of sour taste went a long way to ensure it could be enjoyed until the last drop of broth.

The steamed Tiger Grouper fish was served in Hong Kong style soy sauce, the sliced steak was tender drenched in oriebtal sauce with a touch of Chinese vinegar and the Ifu Mie was presented in fancy way using deconstruction approach. The dessert was beautifully served that would catch anyone's eye. The colors were aesthetically combined to enhance the elegance and rich sweet taste in various forms: custard, jelly and crunchy wafer.

Overall the chefs' effort to elevate the Chinese food into more artistic presentation without having to sacrifice the familiar taste of the dishes should be appreciated. There were room to grow, of course, but it's secondary to the boldness of the culinary team at Hotel Padma to be different in an arguably growing market of high end cuisines in...

Second time dine in this fancy restaurant located at five star hotel.

Love everything about this place. First, the reservation via Whatsapp. The staff handling the reservation is friendly and professional.

The place is cozy, calming and very neat. The staff gave a warm welcome and always ready to serve nearby.

The food are presented nicely and they are all tasty. 1 serving can be shared up to 3 person.

I asked for a complimentary birthday treat for my husband and they gave us a plate of pretty pao. A group of staff gave a surprise by singing Happy birthday song to our table.

Overall, we had a pleasant birthday dinner at Kim Tia and we will certainly...

Nice atmosphere chinese restaurant. We went for dim sum, tried its delicious taro puff (chrunchy out side, juicy inside), tong yum dumpling, dry shrimp chang fen and lo mai kai. They all good ♡♡ We ordered Ha Kau too, but this basic dimsum item did not prepared well We Wanted to order guk bou tea (pu er with chrysanthemum) but it seems the one who offer us tea did not undestand. So we end up order Tie guan yin. May be because its still new ... there are also seems no adequate waiters... even we sat quite central of the room, its still hard to get their attention to...
