Michi Ramen — Restaurant in Semarang

This place located in center of Semarang City, if you craved Japanese food on Semarang and not too pricey, I recommend this place.

My family ordered Shoyu Ramen, Fried udon (I forgot the name LOL), Sushi, and Pork Don. I will review from popular menu first, the fave menu here is Ramen. Most people come here to order ramen, but for me I give it 3/5, because the noodles is not too small and tasty like famous ramen place that I usually eat on Jakarta. For the soup flavour is very light. If you wonder the taste as comparison I think the ramen is better than Ram*a brand, and the price is almost same/portion but Michi ramen portion is larger than that one. Next is sushi, the sushi got very Indonesian taste so I think for people who usually can't eat sushi, they can try to eat here. And then I will review Pork Don, the taste is kinda good and not too greasy. The last one that I will review and RECOMMEND is the fried udon, it almost have similar taste like kweetiau but it's cooked on Japanese style, which is something new, the flavour is rich and make you want to eat more and more.

Maybe it would help my review reader, this place sell Pork, so definitely not halal, so make sure you reconfirm with the waitress.

Oh, and I want to review the hospitality, the waitress isn't very nice, so I suggest you guys to told them twice and spesifically...

Nice and cozy place with "Japanese like" interior. The price is quite reasonable in line with serving size and the taste.

I had original Buta Ramen - pork, black fungi, boiled egg - the soup is rich and quite tasty. However, the ramen itself is more like egg noodle.

My sons had Cherry Blossom Sushi and he said it was delicious.

I came here around 4.30 and there was only one person doing everything in the kitchen. So the food came out like around 20minutes later.

lokasi agak masuk ke gang, tapi cukup luas restaurantnya dan 2 lantai. harga murah ke sedang ya, untuk harga Semarang agak mahal, untuk harga Jakarta masih murah, pesen buanyak banget buat ber-4 masih 400an.. cm ya sesuai kualitasnya. pas masuk ga ukur suhu 😅 untung resto sepi ya, dan waitres pakai masker dan face shield. dari bbrp menu yg dicoba yang lumayan bento 2, cm agak asin tapi nasi pulen, gorengan dan beef teriyaki lmyn tapi daging sapinya kurang ok kualitasnya agak alot ya. trus sushi yg pakai cheese lumayan, ada wasabi dan ginger secuil,. sayangnya kecap manisnya bukan khas jepang. dan ga lengkap, ga ada chilli oil, ga ada cabe bubuk. sushi yg pake salmon mungil ga berasa salmonnya tipis kecil sekali dan rasa kurang ok. biasa aja. ya balik ke harga ya. untuk beef enoki, bumbu kurang dan kualitas beefnya/masaknya ya kurang ok jadi ga lembut, agak keras alot. dah kita masing2 pesan ramen, ada yg misokara, ada yg kara, chicken n b2, rasanya juga biasa saja. hanya kuahnya lumayan, mie std, overall kurang ok. langsung dikasih bawang putih cincang dan potongan cabai. oiya sama kentang goreng enak dapet salad dikit. oiyaa yang enak lagi adalah es teler, hqrga ok, kualitas n rasa ok, ga kalah sm es teler jakarta/garut wkwk..ocha hangat gelasnya lmyn tp ga refill ya.hmm kalo sy pribadi cukup 1x 😅 tapi banyak juga kok yg suka karena affordable ya. kalo iseng2 ya bole dcoba.tapi jangan dibandingin ya sama sushi tei, genki sushi.....
