To be honest, i dont know why so many people like Haidilao so much. And congratulations for Haidilao 🎉🎉🎉 First impression the queue. I have to wait to get the table. Thats one of the reason i choose 3 stars. Even they give you snack for free while waiting and they give your kids activities (thats clever 👍🏼). But.... I still don't like to queue and wait to eat. 😂 And for those reason 5 of 10 for the queue. But 8 of 10 for the waiting room.
Taste of the soup 9+ of 10 I like the soup. Its the best part in here. The best for me is BaKutTeh, Tomyum come 2nd and 3 combination (I never tried Mala, some said its the best) Price and space of the soup 5 of 10 You have to pay 100k+++, without tax for each soup. Or you can mixed up to 4 kind of soup and the price is 200k +++ (Comparing to other restaurant, you get up to 2 kind of soup for free) And here come the problem. Because 4 kind of soup, the space is too small. I dont like small. (Lol)🤣 I recommend to choose 1 or 2 kind of soup. I hope it will give bigger space to cook. (Never tried)
Food 7 of 10 Many menus to choose, and they have some premium menus. Of course they have signature menus too. I recommend you pasta udang and mie ubi. Not recommend : Lao mian khas haidilao. Chef will dance and make the noodle in front of you. But.... Its below my expectation because freshness, texture, taste, quality and performance is average (so so). And the rest of the food just average nothing special. (Freshness, texture and taste)
Price of the food 5 of 10 With the same quality of the food, Haidilao is more expensive than other restaurants. Some kind, far more expensive.
Service and Vibes 9 of 10 I like the vibes and cleanliness. All staff and waiters wearing mask. Even though all the table is full. But its not feels too crowded. Referring to my experience, Haidilao has the best service for the same kind of restaurant. You (Haidilao) have to proud about it. Waiter / staff is very helpful. The best part is even i was served by one waiter. But she is very active and care. She can cook food for you. No need to ask for refill the drink, she will do it first. Read moreFor a first comer, really had a great, fun, & warm experience! Awal kali datang disambut oleh Ka Ale (hopefully didn't mistype her name) & first impressionnya bener-bener fun, friendly & lively. Already in loved with their service & vibes.
Later on, somehow she got changed with Ka Hasna which is also as fun, friendly, & lively as Ka Ale. Also, she had a good humor too. When we, my friend and I, almost finished, suddenly she gave me a little cute present, which was a mini car toy. Not only that, she also gave me a wish/prayer for my graduation.
She said, the toy was a gift for my graduation, since I told her that this morning I had a graduation ceremony. What a thoughtful of her, I got so touched with it.
No wonder, as long as I live, so far Hai Di Lao truly the best restaurant that has top notch quality of service. Their service is absolutely no joke.

Read moreI visited Hi Di Lao on a Sunday when the restaurant was extremely busy, and there was a long queue of waiting customers. Unfortunately, I witnessed something that I feel was quite unfair and disappointing.
A family arrived after many of us had already been waiting in line. However, because they appeared to know one of the staff members, they were allowed to skip the queue and were seated immediately. I overheard their conversation, as it took place right in front of me.
While the rest of us waited patiently, it was disheartening to see certain guests receive special treatment. I believe this kind of practice is inappropriate, especially during peak hours when everyone is expected to wait their turn.
