Except for the Es Cincau, the drinks were watery, lacking flavour.
The ayam portions were large enough and cooked in the modern Ayam Bakar style (appears burnt all over but it’s not burnt, it’s the way it’s cooked with the basting sauce).
For westerners the chicken is much drier than we are used to but this is very much the Indonesian way and it was prepared just right!
The gurami was nicely prepared and the fish meat was still juicy but with that “bakar” flavour and crispness on the outside. Excellent.
The Plecing Kangkung was okay. Could have been more pedas. The lalapan was rather basic for the price.

Nice taste, but when I was there, it seems like they no longer open the access for visitors to sit on the second floor. In addition, they seem to also not open the VIP rooms. If it is due to technical problem with the air conditioner, it's fine. At least, they should write info about why they no longer provide the VIP rooms anymore.
