Handayani Garden — Restaurant in Surabaya

I ordered Pad Seew but Pad Thai was served instead. I informed the server that she got me the wrong stuff, she merely said "yeah, hehehe" and then walked away. The Pad Thai was really fishy, one of the worst I had in this town.

The crab meat fried rice was passable, not that mouth watering. Fried fish was also mediocre, luckily we had the sauce separated, otherwise it would be untouched.

There were crazy amount of flies everywhere, making it unhygenic and annoying to eat as we had to swat our hands every other seconds.

The servers were not well trained and lacks basic common sense of when you see flies, you should give plenty of candles or do something.

They had just opened their cafe, which was "indoor" - I caught a glimpse of it and flies were also evident indoor.

Food taste was 2/5 Price was 2/5 Service was 0.5/5 Location...

Super slow serving. Drinks is served after 30 minutes, food is out after 60 minutes. It was merely simple food.

Fried tofu out after 60 minutes, and the rest of my order is following afterwards.. The Satay served cold, its like been cooked in the morning and left in normal room temperature. The server said it was frozen.

The squid is not fresh, hard to chew. The gurami fish meat is not succulent like other restaurant. Seems like it isnt too fresh.

Other menu I ordered is the same.. not too good..

I Love the Kol Nenek So Much Kangkung Crispy is the must try dish and Ayam Goreng Pandan Thai also the best ayam pandan I ever tried, very suculent and very fragrance

Price is lil bit costly but worth it, with very nice place like a garden completed with the small waterfall makes the dining moment escpecially dinner and after the rain fells so intimate,

only the live music is very bad, just hate the singer voice that ruins our dinner time.

Must Try to this place
