Panties Pizza — Restaurant in Surabaya

They seemed quite keen for reviews, I can't think why, they're not going to get many good ones!

I've been past this place loads of times and it's always busy; I guess I had to check why. The reason is simple, it's slow! The main problem is the lack of real menu. If you like to choose your food based on a cryptic name like "Hollywood Superstar" with no further description, then this is the place for you.

After queuing 15 minutes then ordering you get the most basic drink imaginable. Think sachet with a bit of ice for 15k calling itself vanilla latte. They have to get their mark up somewhere. The pizzas are about 25k which is about right given their small size and not so exciting ingredients: think sausage, kebab meat, chicken and cheese. After another 40 minutes wait it's clear that all the tables are full of people waiting politely but not eating. It's busy more like a library than a restaurant. 10 minutes with a poorly filled calzone (it's folded so you don't realise how ugly it is) you're happy to leave, kind of full, not ripped off, but unlikely to come back unless a stroke of...

This is my first time going to this cafe. They offered a lot of different pizzas to choose. However there are three things that made me avoid coming back. First, the taste of University Pizza was not that special. They also charge more for extra toppings. Secondly, their beverages especially their coffee. I order hot coffee latte but it came up taste and serve like instant coffee. Instead of hot as my request, it was warm. I do really love their pizza. Taste very simple but easy and just enough for my preference. My fave was chicken and cheese stuffed. They do really royal to put cheeses massively inside. The only drawback of this place was dirty toilet. I also acknowledged their slow services, but i could compromise with it because of their long lines and cooking a great pizza took long time to be done.
