Platter - Kertajaya Indah — Restaurant in Surabaya

cheap food which aim higher than its price tag but somewhat pretty enjoyable (if you took its price for what its worth). It's could be crudely described as "poor man's pepper lunch" but don't get it wrong, Platter absolutely worth to be considered as it's own style. They served rice in a hotplate. You can choose either beef or chicken to go with it. Each one had their own sauce and cooking style. Pick which one do you like best. There's always an egg and corn to go with it. Chosse your drink then immediately pay when you order.

After considerably long time waiting (I went there at weekend, and it's very crowded) the food is served in a sizzling hot and soy saucy fragrant way. Enjoy your meal, you can add some sweet or salty soy sauce to your likings.

TIPS if you don't like crispy rice, as soon as your meal served, stir the rice! If not, the bottom part of the "rice dome" will be dry as it's burned with the hotplate heat. FYI : i like it a little bit crispy. add to the texture.

PROS Relatively cheap Taste are OK, worth the price Portion are OK

CONS Hygiene is a little bit questionable but I'm not sick afterward so i give it a pass Service time is borderline awful. But maybe it will be a LOT better if i went there...

Basically, okay. Price per meal with drink. Normally around idr 37-40.000 .. main course around 25-30s ( rasanya belum ppn ) Price is ok. Drink is a bit up , the cheapest is 10k . Simply around 40k per person .

Chicken katsu is definitely the most favourite Dish , with okay taste , it's crispy, good rice, great egg taste , you can have 2 spice, taste great . Drink is okay . Just the option for less / sugarless should be added.

The room is .. cozy, cool n clean . The music is excellent . For the price , that's really awesome. Offers cool semi outdoor table . Location is kids friendly.

Good place for couples n family.

The service person is warm , act fast too. The dishes took no more than 5-10 minutes to servers, all together even for 3 meals . In no time. Great.

And this opens even at 9 pm .. they still spirit full to serve us. Well ... Very...

Posisi suepi selain kita cuma ada 1 customer

Pesanan kita : 1 beef bulgogi 2 beef bulgayaki bento

Ga lama 1 beef bulgogi keluar, posisi hotplate nya adem, ga ada bunyi sizzling, gw udah ngebatin paling bagian kitchen nya ga hangatin hotplate karena cuma 1 pesanan.

Nunggu lama belasan menit, 2 bento kita ga keluar.

Begitu keluar, gw kasih ke anak gw, anak gw bilang "DAGINGNYA KOK KECUT YA." gw cobain - beneran kecut.

Gw lapor ke waiter, terus 2 bento ini dibawa balik ke kitchen. Nunggu agak lama, bento keluar lagi, ternyata DAGINGNYA GA DIGANTI, CUMA DIPILIH YANG KECUT BASI DISINGKIRKAN. Tapi ya tetep basi. Bau kecut daging tengik gitulah.

kok tau kalo dagingnya disingkirkan ? Karena porsi dagingnya jadi sedikit. Kita pelanggan lama bbrp x makan situ jadi udah hapal porsi bento nya seberapa banyak.

Gw panggil waiternya lagi, . waiternya tanya ke bagian kitchen "daginge mbok pilihi tok tah ? Gak mbok ganti ?"

Dan bagian kitchen gw rasa 2 orang sepakat jawab "ganti...."

Akhirnya gw tanya, ini maunya gimana, gw ga mau nunggu lama lagi, antara balikin duit ato ganti baru semua.

Waiter perempuannya bilang ganti, terus waiter laki (total ada 2 waiter) mau ambil bentonya lagi, gw bilang ga usah diambil, ganti baru semua

Yakali gw mau makan bento sudah dibawa bolak balik ke kitchen n daging basinya diobok obok dipilih sama mas mas kitchen.

JIJIK REK. GILANI.

Urusan makanan 30 ribuan ae ribete kayak gini. Pihak kitchen tidak kooperatif sama sekali.

Akhirnya kita nunggu lagi agak lama, makanan keluar dan gw coba dagingnya fresh (foto terlampir no 2)

Nah pas kita nunggu, ada mbak2 pesen hotplate nya panas ada bunyi sizzling gitu.

Jadi memang bagian kitchen nya kempros ngeyelan pisan.

Yang mau makan di sini gw sarankan ga usah. Cari cabang platter lain. Daripada kalian datang pas sepi, bagian kitchen asal asalan masak n kasih daging basi ke kalian.

Satu lagi, sofa warna biru tua di resto kalian ga ada rencana di deep clean tah ?

Bayangin sofa warna biru tua sampe jadi hitam di beberapa area tertentu.
