One of the most famous lamb satays in Surakarta. Visited at noon near lunch time, we found that the place was crowded, fortunately we managed to find some seats. One of the staff came to us in no time for our orders, went for lamb satay, sate buntel (seasoned minced meat wrapped in fatty parts), and tongseng masak (lamb leftovers in light turmeric coconut milk). Orders were ready in about 15 minutes. The satay was quite tender, seasoned just right, served with shredded cabbage and shallots, tasted savory and a bit sweet, easily became one of my favorite satays. The satay buntel was a bit dry outside but juicy inside, tasted good but honestly not my favorite. The tengkleng was somewhat good and the leftovers was tender enough to bit and chew. Overall nothing to complain for. Price is standard. Staffs were quite helpful. There is no special place for parking. Cash and non-cash payment accepted.
One thing to consider, might be better not to visit at the noon in the dry (between August to late September/ early October) season, itโs unbearably hot...

Sate Kambing (Mutton Satay): big piece of meat, but I don't really like the sweet taste. They put too much sweet soy sauce in it. Sate Buntel (Minced Mutton Satay): this thing is freaking huge, well grilled and delicious. Mild taste with balanced spices. Gule Kambing (Mutton Stew): not quite what I expected as I thought it would taste like Maduranese Gule, but it isn't bad. This Gule is only served with the goat's intestines (Jeroan) and not the meat like the usual Gule. It smells really gamy though so it might turn...
