Soemoer Timbo Heritage Resto — Restaurant in Surakarta

I came here at night, no plans to visit, but I attracted by the lighting outside the place. This place hold health protocol very seriously which is good.

Most of the seating are reserved, after I ask the staff, the place is designated for vip, vip means we have to spend at least 500k. I came here as a couple, so I think the vip seating is veryy overpriced. I order 2 kinds of rice and a side dish, taste average, bit tasteless. They should improve and maintain the dishes taste a lot more.

Atmosphere is quiet good and unique, but it is a bit too dark by the costumers seating.

Selat segar was only consist of ONE SMALL piece of meat and veggies 😂 (you can see the size of meat in my photo). Ordered cumi goreng tepung and also dissapointed as they cut the squid very small and fried it with a lot of batter , tasted like eating fried batter.
