They serve delicious local dish. Most of the menus are "cross cultural dish" so you have to be careful because it may shock your taste buds and expectations.
Like if you order chinese food capjay/capjae never ever expect you'll get a plate full of veggies because it is Javanese x Chinese food so you'll get lot of kekian (flour base dish) instead of veggies.
For another example... The main dish here is Bestik which comes from western dish "steak" but in local taste. So it is contain cow tougue with bunch of sweet sour and savoury sauce. Locals usually eat it with rice.
My personal advice, if you don't really like sweet savoury dish just ask them not to add kecap manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce) because they use a loooott almost in every dish.

My favorite menu here is the Beef toungue Bestik, fried beef toungue, nasi goreng. The beef toungue is fork tender, good amount of toungue & yummy. The fried rice was surprisingly good. It has the all important "wok hei" that differentiate good fried rice from great fried rice. For me, the fried rice can feed 2 people, but I'd like my own portion of beef toungue steak.
The outlet also provides e-wallet payment with Gopay so you have to worry when you...
Read morePros: really nice food, I ordered the bestik lidah sapi and it was bussin'. The beef tongue was really tender and the sauce was very tasty as well. Never had this kind of food before so if it's your first time in Solo you HAVE to try this Cons: the place was a bit harder to locate since they don't have any sign in front of the restaurant. The service took quite some time too, probably because it was dinner time when I got there. The place was your typical Indonesian middle restaurant in terms of cleanliness, but it's still bearable. Verdict: still a recommended place to...
