Bumi Aki Heritage — Restaurant in West Java

This is my first experience visiting Bumi Aki Heritage with my family in sunday morning. We arrived in the morning and since we never been here before, I ask the personnel to explain where can we be seated, first thing he asked me do we want a place with the table or just “lesehan”. I ask for lesehan and he offer me two area, one area is near the playground (since he saw us bring our childreb) or the other area offering a better view but far from playground. We choose the area with the view. Since i know we arrived early, i asked for the menu is it already completed or not, especially for their signature menu. And he said honestly that some of the menu is ready and some are still on processed. The hospitality and services here are superb, food is delicious altough lil bit pricey but it is still worthed and quite authentic offering mostly sundanese cuisine and other Indonesian cuisine also available, The atmosphere are refreshing because altough the place is near the mainroad, the air we breath is still so refreshing coming from the hillside of Puncak area… perfect place also to finished my unfinished task for monday presentation.. certainly will be coming back here...

Very nice place we stumbled to it while walking from our hotel. Although we just had breakfast, I needed my morning latte. Love the sectional area all over this huge place. Lots of greenery and flowers. Love the landscaping and the water feature they have all around. Great stop for a small or a large group of people. The place is huge. Plus, I learned they have some villas for rent, but they look too old and not well kept at all like most villas, which is a shame how they can label them as villas. We were invited today to share breaking the fast with my wife's family, and the food preparations were amazing. Quality and quantity were great. The only issue was that the chicken was dry and chewy. The staff was very friendly. Another small complaint is that I wish the management would ban smoking inside the mosque. Maybe let them outside. Cosy place, people are responsive, efficient service. It was dinner for us on Friday night, not too crowded. Weather was cooling. Food was delicious. One of their new dish is only available at this outlet is Ngabubuy Ayam - it was tasty. Apparently this dish which wrapped in some leaves with herbs, was cooked for 6 hours. Lamb satay was delicious too. It was served warm in a grilled pan to keep the meat warm. Colenak (a type of popular dessert in Bogor, fermented casava served in palm sugar and fresh shredded coconut) was good too.
