Review:

Our evening at Malibu started off as nothing short of spectacular with a breathtaking sunset that bathed the setting in its warm embrace. A couple of beers added to the serene environment of the evening, setting the stage for some mouthwatering dinner comprising of delectable salmon skewers. Each skewer carried a remarkable harmony of flavours, which left our taste buds singing praises.

However, the culinary journey hit a bit of a snag during happy hour. Our order of 2 Negronis, with the expectation of a third, complimentary one, turned out to be less than expected. Unpleasantly surprised, we found that the drinks were inappropriately mixed with orange juice, giving them a far cry from the authentic Negroni taste we were craving.

Despite this setback, the professionalism and quick action from the supervisor saved the day. Acknowledging the issue, he not only took it upon himself to explain to the bartender the traditional Italian way of making Negroni but also rectified the error by personally ensuring our drinks were remade according to the classic recipe. His humility to accept the mistake and eagerness to learn from the mishap was an experience in itself, making up for the initial disappointment.

The service went way beyond being mere corrective action. We felt acknowledged, respected and valued—qualities which underline an exceptional service. We'd like to express our heartiest gratitude to the Malibu team for turning around the experience and delivering the evening we envisaged.
