SENDJA@KARDIÀ — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

We decided last minute to stop here for dinner as they were having a fire dancing show and an all-you-can-eat buffet for $250k per person.

Honestly probably some of the friendliest and kindest people I've ever met, the staff were all so wonderful, smiley and just lovely.

The food in the buffet was delicious, including made-to-order pasta! (You pick your pasta and sauce and they bring you a plate to your table, included in the buffet!) Lots of options for the salad bar, meat and veggies skewers, various kinds of rice, roast vegetables, fruit, desserts. Well worth the money. We ordered 2 drinks as well and they were delicious and affordable as well. The fire show was great and then afterwards they had live music which was also so nice and really great atmosphere.

Icing on the cake was how helpful the staff were when we returned to our bikes after dinner to find they were gone (our fault for not locking them- always lock your bike! Lesson learned). They checked their CCTV and were able to provide us with the direction the people who mistakenly took them went so we were able to find them and bring them back to our hotel. Really lovely and...

We had the BEST holiday at Kardia. The staff here are the sweetest and kindest making you feel so welcome! We spent 3 nights and 4 days here and we spent most of our time here relaxing by the pool! Drinks are amazing and the coffee is die for! We had breakfast here every morning and always so delicious! We would venture for dinner around the island. We were here one night for the fire dancing which was so fun, it was done by a staff member, moyo who is very personable and kind! Each night we did happy hour with the live acoustic music and it was very good, very romantic while watching the sun set! This place was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Bali! If you’re looking for a place to relax and feel like you’re on holidays this is the place to be. We tried Sendja@Kardiá and overall had a mixed experience. On the positive side, they offer in-room dining which we really appreciated, and the pool breakfast looks beautiful and they are flexible with timing. The presentation of the food is always nice.

However, we found the flavors often lacking. The carbonara was tasty, but the hamburger was disappointing and we couldn’t finish it. The meat lover’s pizza was just average, with the meat not very flavorful. The fried bananas also didn’t meet expectations – we’ve had better elsewhere. Western dishes overall have potential but need improvement.

On the other hand, the Indonesian dishes were good and felt more authentic. Breakfast also looked nice but again lacked flavor.
