The reason why this warung is so popular is because they serve fresh grilled fish at a fraction of cost than the resort resto. And it is worth every penny.

Had the barracuda, snapper, mahi-mahi, and another fish I forgot the name of but they were all tasty and fresh. Each plate comes with rice, sambal, and some vegetable garnish - 75k per plate.

Cant get this kind of value at any other place, especially one on the beach with an unobstructed view of the sunset. We stayed at the nearby Holiday Resort but dislike the á la carte options - so thankfully this warung is just a few steps away.

The vendors are annoying and it's best to avoid eye-contact if you just want to enjoy your meal in peace. It is a public beach so they are unavoidable. But they are just trying to make a living so if you're interested in sarongs, bracelets, or paintings - feel free to...

Walked into this restaurant because of the geocache that is hidden on its premises, and decided to stay for a drink. As I was sipping my mango juice, I planned my afternoon (surfing class at a nearby surf school) and decided to stay for an early lunch. I had delicious sambal terong balado (spicy eggplant) and fried tempeh and tahu with two other types of sambel. The owners are friendly and the place is very peaceful. I was just chilling with my feet in the sand, looking out over the ocean and the clean beach. Such a contrast with all the crowds and noise and trash on the beaches in Bali!

I came back the next day to get take-away gado gado. Again, it was delicious! They didn't give me any cutlery (and I forgot to ask), but I'm prepared for those kinds of situations, and eating with your hands is fine,...

We came here several times with the whole family. The ambience at the beach during sunset is stunning. Very laid back vibe. Food is great and special wishes for our small kids been always fulfilled. You’ll find traditional Indonesian, vegetarian, meat and seafood. We will definitely come back.

Some context to the criticism before: Yes, food may take a while when it’s full. It’s a small shed at the beach.

Yes, vendors will try to sell things including some of the waiters. However, they accept ONE clear but friendly no.

Yes, it’s not the cheapest Warung you’ll ever go to, but given its location at the beach and between the expensive resorts, it is still way more economic.

If you take it easy and accept it as the laid back resto, that it is, with casual food, I’d call it good...
