The Waroeng at JEEVA Klui Resort — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

The Waroeng at Jeeva Klui Resort is an absolute gem. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, this place never fails to impress. The staff, particularly Dini, Windri, and Komang, are amazing. Their warm and friendly demeanour adds an extra touch of hospitality to an already delightful experience.

The Waroeng offers an incredible panorama of the infinity pool and the stunning beach beyond. It's a feast for the eyes as you indulge in your food.

Speaking of dishes, there are a few that I highly recommend. The Ayam Taliwang and Grilled Prawns are a true delight. The flavours are perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. If you're in the mood for something a bit lighter, the Mahi Mahi is an excellent choice. It's tender, flaky, and bursting with flavour.

Now, let's move on to the desserts. The crepes with coconut filling are an absolute must-try. The combination of the soft, delicate crepes and the rich coconut filling is simply divine.

Would have been better with a Thai or Vietnamese type salad dressing The rendang sauce was excellent but the beef was tough and took too long to chew - indicating that either it wasn't slow cooked for at least five hours which is a must with rendang AND they probably used cheap local Lombok beef which REALLY needs to be cooked for AT LEAST five hours. The apple pie was the best part of my meal. In my 66 years I've had apple pie all over America, UK, Germany, Denmark, etc. and this one was unique. Utazásunk alatt a Jeeva Santai Villas-ban szálltunk meg. A Jeeva Klui Waroeng ugyanahhoz a szállodalánchoz tartozik. A szállodaszobánkban talált vacsoramenüben kinéztük, hogy mit ennénk szívesen. Az étterembe való érkezéskor csak itallapot kaptunk, a pincérnő úgy kommunikálta le, mintha aznap este csak büfévacsorát lehetne kérni. Miután elmondtuk, hogy egy bizonyos ételt szeretnénk megkóstolni a menüről, értetlenkedett, a la carte menüt továbbra sem adott. Nem akartunk más helyre eltaxizni, ezért ott maradtunk és elfogadtuk a büfévacsorát, aminek az áráról nem lettünk tájékoztatva, és mint utólag a szállásunkon láttuk, nem része a hivatalos vacsoramenünek. Az ételek csévingekben voltak tárolva, az ízük középszerű volt, a grillezett halak nem voltak frissen elkészítve. A számla kikérése után szembesültünk vele, hogy a büfévacsora ára a többszöröse volt az a la carte étlap áraihoz képest. Kettőnknek a vacsora 1-1 itallal kb.1,1500,000 IDR volt, ami a hotelünkben lévő étlapon szereplő árak többszöröse. Átverve éreztük magunkat.
