As someone from the East who grew up in Java, my standards for seafood are sky-high, but Sio Manise delivers perfectly. The freshness of the ingredients and the balance of spices make it a standout.

It takes time for them to serve the food, but it's worth it. So i recommend to contact them to prepare the fish before you come (or basically do a reservation). Their fishes are huge and fresh. They're quite affordable. Heck, it's fairly cheap compared to other seafood restaurants. Their seasonings are leaning towards sour and spicy. It fits perfectly with the ocean taste of the fish with the hint of bitterness from the grill. I came here multiple times, but i haven't been there for quite a while. Looked at their google maps page, sadly they're temporarily closing the place. Hopefully they're still open by the time I get there in the future. Definitely one of the best seafood place in town. Kalian pecinta seafood wajib nyobain makan seafood disini. Dari rasa enak banget. Saya sudah nyoba ikan bakar baramundi, ikan cuwe, cumj, udang, kerang ijo, kangkung. Yang paling saya suka cumi sama udangnya, top banget. Saya pernah nemuin restoran seafood yg bumbunya kayak template semua bahan dimasak dengan bumbu yg sama, kalau di resto ini tiap bahan dimasak dengan bumbu yang beda2. Dan yg pasti bahannya fresh. Sambelnya khas disini pakai sambal colo-colo atau dabu2 khas manado. Seger banget sambelnya. Kalau mau sambel matah juga bisa, tinggal request. Porsi nasinya standart, untuk saya cukup kenyang.

Kita bahas tempat dan ambience, Tempatnya ditengah kota Jogja. Depan nasigoreng notaris kotabaru. Tp Parkir mobil bisa untuk 3-4 mobil doang. Karena mepet jalan raya. Suasana didalam restonya cozy banget, nuansa rumah. Berasa makan dirumah.
