Busy restaurant on a small side street that we were looking forward to trying. We ordered a Sprite and a large bottle of water and both were brought down the table without glasses. We had to eventually ask for two glasses.
We ordered our meals - two main courses consisting of chicken and rice. My partners meal came after a wait of about 25minutes. He had nearly finished his meal and mine still had not arrived. I asked two different waiting staff who both told me it was being prepared. Waited another 20 minutes, my partner had finished eating, and still no food for me. I ordered the Balinese spiced chicken and my husband ordered the beef satay with peanut sauce. Both items were very overcooked. Chicken was dry and chewy, beef was well done smothered in peanut sauce. Both protines seemed like they had probably been pre cooked then heated up.
