To be honest I used to love going to Habruri (being a regular customer). However, their customer service is terrible and they can be rude especially when they have more customers than usual.
Today I went and asked to sit in the side room because the main room was too crowded and they refused stating it was for bigger groups but before when we were just two people they didn't have a problem placing us at a table for 6.
It wasn't that hard to be a little nicer and provide more options. Maybe just simply prepare a table for two especially for customers that have been going since 2014. Let alone I went during covid when no one was even there because they thought the virus came from China.
My absolute last time stepping foot in that place just because they were so disrespectful.
P.s Do not order the orange chicken because they literally use sunquick syrup to give the orange flavor. Very...
Read moreMy first and my last visit because it was a compulsory experience by a friend. I never like far east kitchen. The place is very simple, I think it was a house redesigned to be a restaurant, but really it was very clean area. The friendly staff can speak English, Arabic, and broken Kurdish. They were respectful and helpful to describe the menu and its ingredients. The best side of the restaurant was the portions served together... We ordered two bowl of roasted beef meat and a shrimp with rice (the rice cooked in eastern way, without oil and salt 😮💨). I preferred a shrimp without garlic, but probably there is no food without garlic 😔. A bowl of meat was undercooked (may be it is their own habit!!)... I find the price was quite expensive, it wasn't worth this price. I would recommend this restaurant to person about to visit China, to get used to...
Read moreI ordered Sweet and sour chicken, it was too sweet, normally I make it at home and it’s one of my favorite dishes. At Habruri however, the chicken was extremely dry dipped in a sauces much similar to ketchup mixed with corn starch and sugar, the veggies were super raw and didn’t add any taste to the dish. The meal cane with steam rice, it was really low quality, didn’t taste like rice more like plastic. My husband ordered dumplings and spring rolls, also tasted very artificial and not like real food - like when you freeze something and reheat a month later. Our friend ordered Chicken noodles, but the noodles were actually regular iraqi spaghetti :) and also tasted old. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, it’s really sad to see it...
