Lamassu Hotel — Hotel in Ankawa Subdistrict

A terrible experience. The female receptionist is extremely rude and the manager is very unprofessional. Their response to everything was "that's just the way it is" without offering a solution. Water was leaking from the pipes in the bathroom and the bathroom floor was always covered in a puddle. The whole room smelled moldy. I waited hours for simple room service after calling repeatedly, due to unorganised staff. The cleaning team was awful and didn't know how to make a bed decently, food in the buffet was not fresh the salmon made me sick. This was the most complete open buffet aftaar dinner I have visited in Erbil, the food was tasty, salad, fresh juice was amazing, vegetables, dolma, fish, and many more. The space was quite enough inside the hotel, beautiful hotel and nice and fast services. My rating only regards the opened buffet. 18.5 thousand per person no drinks included. It was ok months before but recently it's getting worse as a food quality as a (taste and courses ) so i know i won't be visiting it again any time soon.
