My stay at the hotel was disappointing and horrible, While the lobby was clean, my room had significant issues. The air conditioning was not cold , I got a room with balcony, but there is no chair or small table in ,The furniture was too old The room has a small screen TV, I suggest the hotel invest in updated maintenance for rooms and provide better staff training for handling, while I am staying there one of my friend he wants to visit me. He came in ,the hotel the reception after like five minutes they called me. They sayed your friend he has to be out. He can not stay with you at the room if you want him to stay you have to pay extra money even I paid like 300,000 Iraqi dinar($250) for a night so they forced me to pay extra 90.000 Iraqi dinar to let him stay with me in the room or we can set at the hotel lobby for free when I talked with the reception they told me we not provide any guest visitor I asked to talk with the manager of the hotel and he came and didn’t solve the problem he said this is the rules of the hotel This kind of issue is not just effect The hotel but effect the whole city of Baghdad for tourism people So for the next time I’m not gonna stay in any...
Read moreThe only good thing is the working staff, they are polite and clearly enthusiastic about there jobs they try hard to serve well but lack adequate training. The hotel is exhausted, it have been refurbished in recent years but in low quality furniture that is already falling apart, worse then that is the maintenance which is so bad that you can see the paint splattered over the furniture, the carpet stained everywhere, the balcony door don't close fully which means no sound isolation and you can hear the cars in the near abu nwas street. The people to blame is the management for not following up by checking the rooms and when confronted with the problems they thank you to notify them but nothing been done. Finally regarding the breakfast it's average or below when i asked for a cafe late they used turkish coffee with steamed milk!!! It's a shame they pretend to be a...
Read moreThis has got to be the best hotel in Baghdad. The staff is highly professional and courteous. Their English is slightly limited but they make up with effort. I had no problem communicating. ||The amenities that's included is unbelievable. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool. There is a sauna and steam room. Their gym is top notch. The customer service is way above and beyond. The laundry is same day unless you ask them to come back the next. Someone comes by my room every evening and ask if my room was cleaned ok. I passed on cleaning the first day and was asked several times if I was sure. (Jet lag) As though not having daily service is unheard of. ||Their menu did not get old after nearly a month. |Security is is very high. I recommend anyone staying in Baghdad stay here.||Thanks everyone at the...
