Visit Date: October 31, 2025 - Lunch Location: Salim Street - Close to Halwachy Sweets - Sulaimaniya Design: The restaurant has fairly modern and cosy design with seating areas available on two levels. The seating is good but not that comfy. In general, it is good but nothing outstanding. Food: Mandela Salad (3.0/5.0), Chicken Fajita (1.5/5.0) the chicken was super dry and extremely hard to swallow without a drink and carrot juice (3.5/5.0) . Price: for the above items and one bottle of water, the bill was 54,250 IQD (39.6 USD). I think for this type of food and service, it is a very high price to pay. Service: The service was OK and the waiters were nice and respectful. However, they brought the salad and the main course together which is not how it should be. Atmosphere: It was a dinner time and Halloween evening, most tables were booked (or at least claimed that they were). It has a cozy and romantic atmosphere in general. Overall, my rating is 2.75/5.0, it is not worth trying.

Had a lovely time here with my family and friends regardless. I'm told the staff and interior has changed recently, which would explain why the average is so high, but my experience was a 2/5 Cheapest bottle of champagne is 50 dollars and it's not champagne, just an unnamed prosecco

Great place, you see the beautiful sulaimaniyah and the warm crowd of Salim Street all night. Very lovely and professional staff, very professional. Good food, especially their Greek salad and humus ( I highly recommend it) It is the first place where I see Lady Box in their toilet, which contained all the necessary things a lady would need in case of emergency! I respect how thoughtful they are! They deserve extra credit.

Great place, you see the beautiful sulaimaniyah and the warm crowd of Salim Street all night. Very lovely and professional staff, very professional. The place is nice and very western style, but the food and drinks are super expensive l. The food was nice, I had the seabass with ginger and chilli. Unfortunately, it took more than half an hour to receive the food and I even get the wrong one, so more time to wait for the right fish! This mostly because the staff do not speak good English, that is unacceptable for a restaurant that wants to present itself as intercultural and open to tourists. Adorable place has a wide collection of books and paints .I feel like touring the world in a very authentic embiance.The menu has a lot of varieties of Salads,Starters,plates drinks and alcoholic drinks. Everything is tasty and the service is very welcoming . The owner is always there to welcome his guests.
