We were several, not so young, British paramedics in Ireland for a stag weekend in February. Which was great by the way. And the weather too was quite warm around the 17th-19th.
We were staying in Ballycasey and after lots of booze we got the munchies. So, late on a Sunday night, three of us walked up to Supermac's in Shannon Town centre.
Even though they we about to close they did not turn us away. They cooked what we wanted fresh and it was delicious.
I have to say, that I would generally say... A burger is a burger wherever you go. But, the burger and chips (fries if you're American) tasted really good and the chips are proper chips.

A clear instruction repeated for an order, not difficult or obstreperous, put simply a plain chicken wrap without salad. I can only assume the person fulfilling the order was being utterly sardonic because the amount of salad they placed on the order was nothing short of a hedgerow. I am at a loss to what part of plain simple polite words don’t work here but I advise customers to exercise caution if choosing this branch because the staff either don’t know or don’t care to listen. Read moreUntil this week I had great time for supermacs, I don't usually eat in take aways but this week I decided to go to supermacs twice, I believe portions have gotten smaller and service has gone very poor,,, cost me about 10 euro for a snack box and another 2 euro for a portion of curry which wouldn't cover two chips,,,,, second time I went i got 6 chicken tenders which cost 7 euro and were no bigger than half a chicken nugget and after all that she put in no ketchup after been asked twice,,,,, from a disappointed...
