My Kitchen by Sham Hanifa — Restaurant in County Roscommon

I recently had the pleasure of dining at My Kitchen by Shan Hanifa in Carrick on Shannon, County Leitrim, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food, ambiance, and everything about this restaurant exceeded my expectations.

Firstly, let's talk about the food. The menu offered a fantastic range of options, and each dish I tried was an absolute delight. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch. Whether you're a fan of traditional Irish cuisine or crave international flavors, My Kitchen has something to satisfy every palate. The chef's attention to detail and use of fresh, high-quality ingredients truly shone through in every bite.

Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant was simply captivating. The interior design struck a perfect balance between modern elegance and warm, inviting atmosphere. The dining area was well-appointed, with comfortable seating and beautiful décor. It created a cozy and intimate setting that enhanced the overall dining experience.

Very poor customer service. As me and my girlfriend are currently waiting for our food (more than 30 mins so far, still no food) We’re more that unhappy with this „restaurant“. As our table neighbors (who ordered after us) already revived their food. Unorganized and unprofessional that’s how it’s feel. Actually I would just like to stand up and go but due to the fact that we have had to pay in advance we’re basically trapped here. Big NO NO I will never come back to this place or recommend it to everyone. If you find your time valuable don’t come here. We cancelled our food after they tried to bring it after 45 min.

Such a mess this place

Edit: after we cancelled we asked how’s possible that our food took that much longer then the food from our neighbors. The waiter sussy replied that we didn’t order together and this must be our fault. Even unable to count as they didn’t gave us the right amount of money...

The positives were lovely decor and vibrant atmosphere and I enjoyed looking in the kitchen shop I even purchased a few things but unfortunately we did not have a great experience dining at Shams kitchen, we waited a very long time for our coffees and food, the cappuccinos were lukewarm and in small mugs, at €3.20 each they should be medium - large cups and hot. My cutlery was dirty (see photo), I had the breakfast Super Bowl and in the food under the eggs was a ball of tin foil. I did point this out to the male server and I left the foil on top so the kitchen could see, I got a barely audible mumbled response. I'm sorry I don't like to leave a negative review, if you look at my other reviews they are always positive, I love to dine out. I know My Kitchen is relatively new and probably just needs to iron out...
