The review below was our experience the first time we were here, we went again this weekend, excited to get again the same quality of service, but we were left disapointed, the quality went way down, frozen vegetables, reused potatoes, overcooked meat. Prices went way up too. Sadly we may not come back again, if it wasn't for the big price increase we would try again as the chef could be out that day, or something may have happened to justify the very bad quality of the food, but for the new prices it does not worth the try.

Previous review: "Perfect background music at the perfect volume, and this was the "worst" thing I can say about this amazing restaurant. Food it soooo good, everything we order is presented with love, care and attention to detail, even the toilets are perfectly clean. The best restaurant we tried in Ireland to date. My wife is finally delighted to go out for a meal. She is used to the French Restaurants and the French cuisine, she says that finally she found a place that can compete with the French quality. We will return for sure, and won't take long, even if we live more than 50km, if worth the drive. Thank you for the...

I very reluctantly post review but, I feel quite taken aback regarding the unfairness of this dining experience. I felt that our dining experience was rushed and I felt unwelcome from the outset, even though our party had a table reservation. The reason became obvious at the end of the meal that the table was required for a second sitting, even though there were empty tables in the restaurant. I felt that staff didn't allow adequate for time to arrive and settle before ordering or to take a break between courses and they started to clear the table whilst we were still finishing up. It was visibly noticable that other diners nearby were being allowed more leisurely time to enjoy their evening out. Unfortunately, I found this to be a very strange and unfairly discriminating experience. Saddened to say, I wouldn't be encouraged to re-visit this restaurant. It seemed so unreasonable to be unnecessarily treated so poorly, even though I am very understanding that staff are under pressure during a...

Just spent 5 days in Carrick on Shannon with a family group of 8 ranging from 12 years to 67 years. We booked De Vino for Wed evening for outdoor seating at 8pm. Booking made on Tuesday. Some of us arrived at 7.45 pm and were told table wasnt ready to sit next door and have a drink. We did this. The rest of our family joined us for 8pm. Table still not ready. 8.30pm my son went to waiter and asked for our table as everyone were getting hungry. He was told table still not ready as previous diners were still seated at it. When my son reminded him that it was booked day before and we were waiting 45 minutes already the waiter asked him what did he want him to do ! My son replied I expect you to honour your booking. We have 8 people waiting to eat and it was not their fault. Who's fault did he think it was ours.? Disgraceful customer service. I was appalled. Will never return. Very disappointed by the treatment we received. Staff need to be...

Meal for 2 adults and a teen came just under €96 with desserts. Pepperoni pizzas were tasty and not overcooked, Spaghetti Merechiar could do with a bit more of the sea part of business and less land (tomatoes), nevertheless still enjoyable but maybe a bit on the expensive side all things considered. Friendly staff (Giovanni) but as serving alone, a bit of a wait between meal and dessert for example and did not check-in mid-meal to see if anything more was needed.

Never easy finding a restaurant for a family of 6 that all tastes can enjoy, never mind one that ticked the boxes of a pizza mad 13th bithday boy; teen+ vegan females with lactose & wheat intolerances to boot and their frazzled parents... and all in a time of Covid-19. A great meal with great wine, with above and beyond service. Genuinely couldn't recommend more highly. A real highlight of a rained out staycation 😍
